My submission for my own "winter themed" secret santa exchange- Amoux the Wolphyn!

Blah. I kinda like this, but I really wish I'd had more time on it. Maybe one day when I have more time to play with it, I'll revisit this one. =P

I realize that technically this should go in the badges directory, but I'm rather pleased with it. I started with a postcard of some mountainy rockish formations, and just sorta went from there. This has got to be the most unique badge I've ever done. =)

Our first 'real' project in my computer Illustration class this semester was to use Illustrator to do three related icons/spot Illustrations. I chose Bats for my series because I have recently come to be very fond of bats and I haven't done much bat drawing in the past. The colors on these are optimized for printing, not for web, so I apologise if the colors look a little odd. After our critique, I realized that I really needed to bump up the contrast a lot more just so these guys would be VISIBLE! Please do not use without permission.

Binturong study.

This was commissioned by Dragoneer to be used as a heading banner for July over at Fur Affinity. Fender is the mascot over there, and This month is Pirate month in honor of the new POTC movie.

Trade with Wiltekirra of her bright green gryphon, Ciernan. I had already drawn this once, but unfortunately Photoshop crashed ad I didn't save it. I waited a few days, watched Sin City, and started over. I worked on really pushing the lighting a lot (as inspired by said movie) and I think this version came out a lot better than the original would have.

Saving this killed the colors. =( This was a computer illustration assignment- a portrait in Illustrator. This is Cori, one of my old roommates. I enjoy illustrator, but it's really frustrating sometimes. 0_0

What was supposed to be a 'quick' art trade with Kit Foxfire turned into this because I was really bored. The pose and theme is a bit generic for her, but I was playing around with lighting and color, and I had fun with it, so that's what matters.

Garlic still life. Painter. The actual -painter- part only took about 6-7 hours, but the drawing took a long time, so the total was probably around 13 or 14 hours. Perez may send me bact to fix things on this, if he does, I'll move this one to wips.

I'm putting this one in my main directory because I'm pretty happy with it, I tried something a bit different from my norm as far as coloring, and I think it came out fairly well. =) Icon commission for Growing Rose.

Went camping a few weeks ago with a couple of my good friends, Kigs and Bastek, and Kigs brought along his friend, Kazz. I can now also say that Kazz is a good friend. This is Kazz, and that is his Mug. The lionheart is copyright to squaresoft or something.

There's tons of things I could still do with this, but I just needed to be done with it, and I think it looks fairly nice as it is.

A note to the moderators- I know you work very hard doing what you do, and despite my frustrations, I do appreciate that. Please let me note that I chose to leave the watercolor 'edges' on this image for an aesthetic purpose- that being the fact that I like how those edges look. I could have very easily cropped them out, but chose not to.

Look! I can use Illustrator, too! I actually just 'learned' the program this past week, and this was my first experiment of sorts. Rather pleased with the results, considering! Something about it reminds me of Neogeen's work- hence 'neonev'.

Nevar (myself) as a flying fox bat. Last night and this afternoon in photoshop, 5-6 hours approx.

The finished version of poofy's Phantasmagoria for the Adequate_SS on LJ. Marker and colored pencil on toned sketchbook paper.

Reupload- different version. I toned down a lot of the colors to get more of the effect I'd originally been going for. I basically used this as an excuse to play around with some techniques that I can finally use, since I have Photoshop CS2 now, and not ps elements. =P

This was originally done in July/August. Started while I was visiting Bastek in Utah. Sadai belongs to her.
