Trying to capture a feeling more than perfect style, detail etc.\r\nI recently lost my oldest dog, so I've certainly experienced this feeling lately.

81 - Pen And Paper

A jackal (or that's what she's supposed to be, but she doesn't really look like one...) who doesn't have any problems with art blocks, apparantly :P

52 - Deep in Thought

Next one, and yet another began-at-work piece.\r\nYoung tiger contemplating over something by a small lake. That's my favourite sitting position, if you were wondering. I guess it looks slightly odd from the side... but the left leg is tucked in under the right. I'm actually sitting like that right now writing this, just realized it, wasn't intentional, haha.

Another picture where I unfortunately had to rush in order to get it done (birthday picceh). Not much to say, a unicorn femme in a tree. Had hoped to add way more background and detail in general, but yeah, out of time. Drew it at work while kids were asleep, on cheap copy paper with a HB pencil, and finished it up at home (kept using a cheap pencil as I figured I may as well stick with it the whole pic)\r\n\r\nLooks best from a distance, heh. Then it almost looks like I made some sort of effort on a distinct lightsource...

31 - Flowers

Started this one at work, so no refs or good drawing materials (used a cheap black bic pen).\r\nUnfortunately, the scanner didn't pick up all the lines, let me assure you the flowers are completely shaded in RL :P\r\nShe's supposed to be a striped hyena, btw.\r\n

62 - Magic

Mmm, I actually wanted to add more stuff etc to it, but I can't! See, PSD crashes every time I try O.O After many, many tries I decided to take the hint and call it finished.\r\nNothing special, a random kitsune doing some magic.

49 - Stripes

Stripes! Boring, I know XD Originally, I was going for Rated but it ended up looking so tame, haha.\r\n\r\nThe pose was borrowed from the lovely stock photos found at http://falln-stock.deviantart.com/

74 - Are you challenging me?

Had to draw MoFo again (name after a comment at DevArt)! And I tried to spice him up a bit... as you can tell I couldn't design a good outfit if my life depended on it, but hey, it's a start! He still doesn't look the least bit undead either.... maybe he's a living vampire. Or something.\r\nCompletely digital, no hand-drawn sketch or anything! I'm slowly improving!

46 - Family

Another drawing that started during a slow moment at work. A feathery wyvern holding its egg about to crack open.

14 - Smile

I know it's sort of uneven... Originally a sketch I did during a slow moment at work, but decided to add more detail and wasn't in the mood to fix it up too much heh.

9 - Drive

A way quick and sucky drawing... well, it's the next one... Dunder playing fotball (soccer) :P Drive as in Play Drive!\r\nI hate it but at least I learnt how to draw a new pose!

2 - Love

Next one... OK, this one took AGES to ink. I have to say, it looks better fo sho in RL, you have to view it from a bit of a distance to see the colours blend and all, and then it's quite nice. Scanned and up close doesn't really do it justice ;)

67 - Playing the melody

Not a very good drawing... But hey, it's something at least... The way I see it, I learnt several things about what I should and shouldn't do next time :)\r\nThis is supposed to be Näcken (or rather, a combination of Näcken and Bäckahästen), a mythical being in scandinavian mythology, playing one of his melodies.

70 - 67 %

"It's at 67 % - get out of here NOW!"\r\nI wonder what exactly is at that percent. Probably not a good thing :P\r\nThis is one of the first ideas I got for the 100 theme challenge.\r\nShe's a pallas cat. I like them. They look funny.

17 - Blood

Here comes Blood! Decided to go with a slightly more "civilized" version of what you may think of when you hear the word!\r\nAmazing you don't see more vamp sable-tooths... I mean, it's the role they were born to play with those fangs!\r\nWorked hard on creating a setting, hope it worked. Had fun messing around with this colouring style, too!

25 - Trouble Lurking

Next in the series! This time it's a Kirin (aka quilin, chinese unicorn etc... though in reality, they are different from unicorns and occasionally decpited with two horns rather than one).\r\n\r\nNot much else to say... I think this is one of my better hand-drawn pieces despite the lack of background :P

43 - Dying

This is based on swedish/scandinavian mythology; a story that varies a bit, but the basic idea is of a huge man with incredible strength, which he had achieved by using magic taking over the strength of a three year old stallion (hence horse was an obvious choice for his anthro form). He was so big and strong he could take on entire armies by himself and dined with kings. However, he got into trouble courting a princess and hard to flee north. One day, on his way home from a friend, he was struck by lightning and died.\r\nThere are many tales of where he is buried, quite a few towns claim to host his grave.

23 - Cat

Next one! Here is is #23, Cat. I was doodling in Photoshop and this lil guy came out. He was supposed to be a devon rex but he doesn't really look much like one! Certainly a wirehaired kitty, though. \r\nAnd yes, he can't make a real fist because those metal claws don't bend X3\r\n\r\nI think this is my best 100 % digitally made pic to date (at least in this style). 99 % of the time I hand-draw and scan my outlines, here it's all on the comp.

36 - Precious Treasures

Next theme pic. A coyote keeping a secure grip on its mate.\r\nRather different colouring style from my usual! I had loads of fun with it though, it's fun to really work out the fur details like that, gradually. It sort of ended up looking like watercolours or something, but besides the scanned outline it's all digital.

I joined this 100 Themes challenge, except, well, I didn't officially join, I'm just doing it on my own since I don't draw so much manga/anime. Try doing a search for 100 theme challenge and you'll find the site. This is #1, Introduction, a mommy or daddy meeting their offspring for the first time. Yeah, I know, they look like different breeds... let's say they are mutts XD

Happy Valentines

I was thinking, that I should A) Practice twoleggers, B) practice hand-colouring and C) draw something I don't normally draw... Hence, here be a valentines hyrax! Scanner killed it, unfortunately, it has more gradual shades in RL...
