Three old friends of listen to news from outside their enchanted forest from a wandering faerie. Done with drafting pens. About once a year I do a fully-detailed black and white piece to stay in practice with such techniques. This was 2006's.

She is originally a human high-priestess of a nature goddess, transformed into her current form to better serve her diety.

Colored with Paint Shop Pro, which I've finally somewhat got a handle on.

The original is 7 x 10 1/2, created with ink, markers, and colored pencils.

This will be the new frontpiece to my website when I give the place an overhaul in a month or two.

Introducing the sorceress Iolanthe and her naughty familiar, Nightfall. I'll probably do more with these characters in the future.

Original is 8 1/2 x 11. One of the alternate designs for my friend's tattoo (see description for "DS-small") that I decided to expand on.
