That previous piece looked like an album cover. So I made the back.

The Australian gothbunny of Furry. Drawn rather quickly very late one night when she said what's quoted on the image, and Illustratored (is that a verb?) as that night shaded into morning.

Wolf ala Frank Miller's 'Sin City' comics. I called the file 'Sin Dog' because
'Sin Wolf' just sounds... stupid. Originally uploaded with a parodically
cutsey description, that none of the 'artists' I was parodying with it probably
understood. Darn.

The third part of 'December Flowers'; the other two are 'Chanteuse' and 'Mastermind'.

One is a few weeks old; the other five were done today while I waited for some art to be ready for me to animate in Flash. Arranged semi-unevenly on a sketchbook page for your viewing convenience. When I finished the cat in the upper left, I felt as if I'd been posessed by Megan Giles for a moment...

Just fooling around, really.

It's long past time for a new picture of me, I think.

Originally done for the 'VCL Class Photo' project (see the thread in the 'Artwork Related' section of the forum here), I liked this enough to stick a quick abstract-psycho background on it and let it stand alone.

Illustrator paths over pencil scan, as usual.

Drawing a compact pose like this for an all-black character is not an easy thing at all, especially when eschewing linework as much as possible. I tried to keep my use of desperation lines to an absolute minimum, and make them evocative in a Hirschfield-y way.

snowblind

Idly playing with Illustrator CS3, though i didn't actually use any of the new features.

Wait until Halloween to look at this one. *grin* I'm never in touch with the seasons.

Raccoons aren't as cute and cuddly as some might think. Not all of them.

Texture and transparency experiments, done in off moments between work stuff.

"Big stripey tits". A phrase that came up in conversation while walking across Boston. Later that day, the rough for this happened.

Because, hey. Big stripey tits.

I don't understand the title either. All I know is that it's what's written next to the rough of this in my sketchbook, with an arrow pointing to the figure.

Queen of Swords

The Queen of the Thrones of Air.

Intensely perceptive, keen observation, subtle, quick and confident: often persevering, accurate in superficial things, graceful, fond of dancing and balancing.

If ill dignified, cruel, sly, deceitful, unreliable, though with a good exterior.

<b>CHOKKK!!!</b> The Ur-Device slammed into phase with the cosmos. "This is it," she thought. "If I don't stop this <b>infernal machine</b> in the next <b>fifteen</b> seconds, the <b>entire universe</b> will be as so much <b>cheap chocolate</b> on <b>Valentine's day!!!</b>"

There was only one thing to do, and she <b>did</b> it.

I was going through some of my old art with intent to make prints available, and stumbled upon this. She's a character I played on a now-vanished BDSM-oriented furry muck; a pretty happily subby unicorn who was secretly robbing all the rich tops blind. AI under inks and over a highly-abused photograph.

An old one from the vaults that a sudden impulse made me decide to make public. Everyone loves tentacles!
