I must stress this: I DID NOT DRAW this portrait. Alania Love came to me with a sketch and asked me to turn it into a portrait. So I DO NOT KNOW WHOSE THIS IS. But I turned the sketch into an outline and colored said outline, and I like the coloring job and cleanup so much I had to put it up here. Alania Love is © to her user, this artwork is © to someone other than me, and the coloring job is © to me.

Amelia.jpg
Image: Amelia.jpg   95x95 3839 bytes 2003.01.09

A long time ago I did a portrait set for Slayers. Or I was going to, and only ended up doing four portraits (I had the horses planned next as Filia and Xelloss!). In any case, here's Amelia stepping in for the female canine in Pristine's colors. The artwork and Pristine are © to me, while Slayers and all its characters are NOT © to me, but they are very much © to some people out there, like the creators, and maybe Software Sculptors or something like that, and probably some other people and... stuff. But not to me. Yeah.

AoLPris.jpg
Image: AoLPris.jpg   95x95 25243 bytes 2002.09.27

The portrait I did for myself. It came from an inked drawing I did called "Angel of Logic." Look! The book even says Logic if you squint and turn your monitor upside-down and change the hue a bit and... yeah. I don't think Pristine's normal colors look as good in this portrait as other sets of colors could, but at least I got the golden compass around her neck. Artwork and Pristine are © to me. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

Asriel1.jpg
Image: Asriel1.jpg   95x95 3871 bytes 2003.01.23

I finished with Asriel's portrait. It has a a star on the shirt, but I'm not going to bother to re-upload. I love this picture, if only because it took me forever to correct those netting arm warmers (graaah!). I think it looks awesome, when you see it as her portrait. Asriel is © to her player, and this artwork is © to me.

Catangel.jpg
Image: Catangel.jpg   95x95 4540 bytes 2003.01.01

A cat angel I did for a portrait set a while back. The colors were contributed by Meep; the artwork is © to me.

Crysport2.jpg
Image: Crysport2.jpg   95x95 24080 bytes 2002.09.27

One of the first portraits I ever made for Furcadia's personal portrait utility. And it's not even remappable. But everyone knows of Crysten's port... I get 1337 h4xx0rz whispering me every day about "4y w4n 4 p0rtrt l41k th4t" et cetera. No! You can't have Crysten! She's © to herself! And this artwork is © to me! (In case you were wondering about the "2" in the name of the file, the ill-fated first version simply had a purple background... only difference.)

Devport.jpg
Image: Devport.jpg   95x95 25447 bytes 2002.09.27

Another one of the first portraits I did for Furcadia's personal portrait utility. Not remappable, but I've had a few comments about how cute the port is. I really like the position, but I think I've gotten better at wings. In any case, Devia is © to herself, and this artwork, which I stupidly did not put a signature on, is forever © to me.

Dogangel.jpg
Image: Dogangel.jpg   95x95 4188 bytes 2003.01.01

A dog angel I did for a female angel portrait set a while back. The colors were contributed by Meep, the artwork is © to me.

femeqd.jpg
Image: femeqd.jpg   95x95 4126 bytes 2002.11.27

The female equine for the Winter Festival portrait patch. I don't like her as much as the male, but the muffs were interesting to work with. Also, the mountains, which were fun to do in both portraits. Random female equine art is © to me.

Glen.jpg
Image: Glen.jpg   95x95 3722 bytes 2002.11.10

One of my first portraits... I did it for Glen a long while back, and didn't hear from him for a year or so... finally I got a hold of him and he said he'd never received it! x.x! Now he's got the ill-fated port lying somewhere on his harddrive. I don't really like the look of the glasses, but the wings came out okay. It was my first guy ever, really. Anyway, Glen is © to himself, and this artwork is © to me.

Gourry.jpg
Image: Gourry.jpg   95x95 3694 bytes 2003.01.09

The dim-witted Gourry, colored like Aestas Letan, and not very showy compared to the other ports. Aestas Letan and this artwork are © to me, and Slayers and its characters are © to someone else, for sure.

Horseangel.jpg
Image: Horseangel.jpg   95x95 4682 bytes 2003.01.01

A horse angel I did for a set of female angel portraits a while back. The colors were contributed by Meep; the artwork is © to me.

Imileed2.jpg
Image: Imileed2.jpg   95x95 3511 bytes 2002.11.27

A portrait I did for Imilee, a bat-dragon furre. This is the second file, as the first one's bangs weren't long enough for Imilee's tastes... I have to admit, the little curl at the jaw makes her a lot cuter. The fangs really stand out with the dark colors, too. Imilee is © to her user, and this artwork is © to me.

JadeKisss.jpg
Image: JadeKisss.jpg   95x95 4320 bytes 2002.11.10

This was a port I did for a furre named Jade Kisss. I don't know if she ever used it; never really hard from her again after I sent it. Anyway, I really like the hair and the flame background and markings, so it wasn't a really bad effort. Jade Kisss is © to herself and this artwork is © to me.

Keoport.jpg
Image: Keoport.jpg   95x95 19039 bytes 2002.09.27

I think this was my first portrait for Furcadia's personal portrait utility... I say that because it's not even single-pixel-width pixel-colored completely-pixelized computer goodness, it's COREL PHOTO-PAINT *duh duh duh!*. In any case, Keo disliked how the background came out looking slightly green. Don't hurt me, Keo! Keona is © to herself, and this portrait artwork is © to me.

KeoportD.jpg
Image: KeoportD.jpg   95x95 26024 bytes 2002.09.27

Probably one of my favorite portraits from the earlier days of my personal-portrait crafting. Not remappable, but I always liked the wings, I guess, as well as the hair. In any case, it's Keona! She's quite © to herself, and this artwork is © to me.

Kyr1.jpg
Image: Kyr1.jpg   95x95 21234 bytes 2002.09.27

Another unclaimed portrait; I made quite a few of them one day just for no reason at all. I used Kyralic's colors here, since the port is remappable. Cute, though, isn't he/she? In any case, I can change the background if you want to buy the port for $10. Artwork and Kyralic are © to me.

Kyr2.jpg
Image: Kyr2.jpg   96x95 21572 bytes 2002.09.27

Random, unclaimed portrait of a female uni-peg available. Ten dolla. I used Kyralic's colors because she was the obvious choice. I can easily change the (ugly) background to whatever you like. It's remappable! Artwork and Kyralic are © to me.

Lapangel.jpg
Image: Lapangel.jpg   95x95 4226 bytes 2003.01.23

The lapine angel from the angels portrait patch. It took longer to get up here because it took longer to find it. I like it, excepting that the breasts look somewhat lopsided (REALISM! EEK!)... this artwork is © to me.

Lhar1.jpg
Image: Lhar1.jpg   95x95 18982 bytes 2002.09.27

An unclaimed portrait of a female cat. I used L'harien's colors for this because they often turn out to be the most pretty with any pictures. Ten dollars if you want it; it IS remappable, and I can change the background. Artwork and L'harien are © to me.

Lhar2.jpg
Image: Lhar2.jpg   97x95 20327 bytes 2002.09.27

This portrait is definitely one of my favorites, if not my very favorite. It is no longer up for sale, however, as my friend Niana bought it. The artwork and colors of L'harien are both © to me.

Lina.jpg
Image: Lina.jpg   95x95 4166 bytes 2003.01.09

The infamous Lina! She definitely took the longest to do everything with: draw, clean up, color, finish. You know. In any case, here she's colored in Kyralic's colors and looks rather good in them. Kyralic and this artwork are © to me, and, for the last time, Slayers and its characters, while not © to me, are © to someone or more than one person out there in this big universe.

maleqd.jpg
Image: maleqd.jpg   95x95 4116 bytes 2002.11.27

The male equine for the Winter Festival portrait patch. It took me a while to get around to making both portraits, since I had so many other things going on, but today I just sat down and finished both of them... go motivation, woo! Random male horse artwork is © to me.

MB1.jpg
Image: MB1.jpg   95x95 4212 bytes 2003.01.23

A portrait I did for Mystery Beast not too long ago. I'm rather disappointed that she doesn't use it much, but she's an artist, too, and we kind of have to show off our own work, so I understand. I like the wings, and the hand-holding-chin thing. I normally suck at doing that; the hand always looks wrong. In any case, Mystery Beast (Misuterii, nowadays) is © to herself and this artwork is © to me.

Mikami1.jpg
Image: Mikami1.jpg   95x95 3785 bytes 2003.01.23

Here's the first portrait I did for Mikami (she bought another from me later; I customized the cat angel portrait). I can't say how much I love this portrait because I love it to death. The background is so great, I think. I just wish the wing on the right looked better, color-wise. In any case, Mikami is © to herself and this artwork is © to me.

Mikd4.jpg
Image: Mikd4.jpg   96x95 27414 bytes 2002.09.27

Sometimes it takes a lot of versions of something to make someone happy... but when you make one person happy, often you end up making a LOT of people happy. I didn't really think Mikinay's portrait was my most spectacular piece of artwork (though I do love the marking on her cheek), but she thought it was the best thing in the world, and I've received a few whispers from people saying they thought it was nice, as well. Why tell the world "no" when they seem to want "yes" so badly? Mikinay is © to herself and this artwork is © to me.

Mouseangel.jpg
Image: Mouseangel.jpg   95x95 4450 bytes 2003.01.01

A mouse angel from a portrait set of female angels I did a while back. The colors were contributed by Meep. The artwork is © to me.

Mustyangel.jpg
Image: Mustyangel.jpg   95x95 3869 bytes 2003.01.01

A musteline angel I did for a female angel portrait set a while back. I randomize-made the colors and the artwork is © to me.

OracleCanF.jpg
Image: OracleCanF.jpg   96x95 4359 bytes 2002.11.10

I think I like the female portrait counterpart a bit more than the male, especially the way the shading on the breasts came out (I always stink at that)... the hair was... interesting to play with. Yet again, it was hard to make the jewel look 3D with only one color to work with. Overall I enjoy the "composition" of sorts. At least, the look on her face. I hate hands. This artwork and Kyralic's colors are © to me.

OracleCanM.jpg
Image: OracleCanM.jpg   96x95 4098 bytes 2002.11.10

In the same following as the equine portraits, these two canine portraits were done for a guild belonging to some friends of mine. They were supposed to be... what was it again...? Kind of like priests, I guess. I made the hair a little far-out, but anyway... my second male! Do some dancing. You better believe it was hard making that jewel look somewhat 3D with only one color (the badge color.) In any case, I enjoy how it turned out. This artwork and Kyralic's colors are © to me.
