I find the suggestion of what's about to happen to be better than an explicit blow-job scene. The backstory is that Levant's had one too many vodkas and is feeling more than a little horny. I've started doing erotic Gator easter cards. It's a long story. The email version of this one carries the caption, "I bet you were wondering why the Easter Bunny missed your house this year?" Watercolor, colored pencil, and technical pen on bristol board.

A Hippogriff (Half Eagle, Half Horse) comes from the union of a Gryphon and Horse. Gryphons usually eat horses, so it's rather kinky. Didn't anyone tell them not to play with their food? A commish for Phaga Eagle. I like this one a lot, mainly because of the colors I used. My husband says my coloring style has gotten to be very "Sunday Supplement," but I have fun playing with color. Especially after working almost exclusively in black-and-white for so long, so I think I can be forgiven a little irrational exuberance. A caption written on the sketch says, "So, ya like poultry, huh big guy?" Technical pen on paper with my weird CG coloring. Done almost entirely without a model, though I did have to use a mirror for part of the pose.

Brushwork, fast and loose! Yes, it's me, except that I forgot my bellybutton-ring. I did put in my other piercing, though. Watercolor wash and india ink on lavender-toned paper. "To love one's self is the beginning of a life-long romance." Oscar Wilde said that.

Selkay (c) Robert Schliff, from "Moldred the Malcontent" (www.moldred.org) According to Moldred, when Selkay gets drunk she can be induced to do strip-tease dances on the bar. I was commissioned to do some of these images featuring a Horse herm submissive and did numerous sketches for them. This started as a study for a commish, but the pose wasn't quite right and I abandoned it for a while. But I liked it just for its own sake, so here it is as a finished, inked piece. You can't quite see it, but there are white pencil highlights on the leather of hir bondage gear.
