Iguana_Drums.jpg

This is just a random fellow from the Kansas City Ren Fest. I liked his rather ecclectic costume. This pic was done with colored pencil over watercolor.

Hyperian.jpg

This is a fulfilled request for Dennis; the Hyperian species type is his. If I remember correctly, it has qualities of a lynx, panther, lion and bear, and the wings of an angel. This picture was done with ink and colored pencil.

Good_Joke_color.jpg
Image: Good_Joke_color.jpg   586x750 135914 bytes 2003.07.19

This was a fairly spur-of-the-moment picture done with ink and markers. I imagine that someone has just told them the parrot joke...

Fhafu.jpg
Image: Fhafu.jpg   631x800 153956 bytes 2003.07.19

This is a fulfilled request for Hannah; Fhafu is her RPG character. The fuzzball is a black jaguar and his costume is modified Mayan. This pic was done with ink, marker and colored pencil.

Festival_Faces.jpg
Image: Festival_Faces.jpg   542x800 115859 bytes 2003.07.19

This is another friend who was at the Kansas City Ren Fest. She has such a small face, and I tried to capture that with the uber-cute ringtailed cat. This pic was done with colored pencil over watercolor. The little stars are done by sprinkling salt on damp watercolor.

Duke_and_Duchess_of_Sheffield.jpg
Image: Duke_and_Duchess_of_Sheffield.jpg   724x562 129253 bytes 2003.07.19

These are some folks from the Kansas City Ren Fest - the Duke and Duchess of Sheffield, and my friend who talks to positively anyone. The pic was done with colored pencils over watercolor.

Checkin'_Out_the_Scene.jpg
Image: Checkin'_Out_the_Scene.jpg   529x800 144343 bytes 2003.07.19

This is one of my sisters as a kangaroo. The image is based on a photo of her. The pic was done with colored pencils over watercolor.

Cap'n_Cockatoo_No_More_Crackers.jpg
Image: Cap'n_Cockatoo_No_More_Crackers.jpg   455x630 85910 bytes 2003.07.19

The Cap' is based on an umbrella cockatoo and a guy from one of my favorite commando movies - except for the tattoos. And how does one tattoo feathers, anyway? Pic done with ink and markers.
