A continuation of a comic I crafted for my website prior to joining VCL, now it uses the VCL as a backdrop and environment for my characters to operate in. For now, they're getting used to their new digs here.

Future installments may involve events here and could be influenced by contributions from other artists, either by story ideas or the involvement of their own characters.
(no promises) :)

#2 in a series.
Tanya wonders out loud what things there are to do now that the group is being exhibited in an online gallery (yeah, this one).

This comic was actually drawn before the preceding one, but it was held back when it was determined that their living arrangements needed a little explaining. Future installments are expected on an irregular basis.

Installment four, first page of a two-pager acknowleging my first art trade here. Second page should appear before AC04 is underway.

Ink brushes take a breather this time while a new set of Microns breaks in on this pic. Same image processor as usual.

Examining the first art-trades involving the group.

Several months have passed since the trades being mentioned were first completed and the characters' acknowledgement of them, so yes, I'm finally catching up to the present.

Brushes resume inking duty next time--the Microns looked okay on paper, but needed extensive cleanup after scanning at 300dpi.

Even though listed as number five, this is actually a continuation of installment four, which fell short of fully describing a certain characters' reaction to being twice picked as a trade subject.

This installment had the shortest completion time (about 3 days worth of spare-time work from conception to posting) to date. Not terribly fast by the standards of some, but an improvement on my previous work.

Tina takes a break from getting to know her surroundings to reveal a quirk in her personality, an activity that gives her an irresistable buzz, which will manifest itself in the next eight pictures to appear here.

The second page of this installment gives a hint as to what she's planning to do. Nothing earthshaking, but she's had the habit for quite some time before my work started appearing here.

Second part of the seventh installment. Yes, Tina's been doing this for quite awhile before manifesting it here (it's in her profile).

Probably explains why Todd isn't surprised. (though he probably hasn't seen what Tina was alluding to in the third panel (example in the URL below))

After considering how long it took to do these comics in greyscale, I was inspired to give it a try in color, taking only slightly more than the usual too long.

This installment picks up on events depicted in the previous batch of standalone pics, and like the others, is open to guest appearances by those seeing an oppurtunity to influence upcoming events. See the 'comic' document in my gallery for details.

#9. An observation of a contradiction leads to a "too much information" moment.

The disagreemet between these two goes all the way back to this comic's origin on my homepage, for those who deign to dig deeper. (and yes, I didn't spot the typo till this was uploaded. I might correct it later)

"To sex things up, or no?" (1 of 2)

Following the bit of "too much information" in the last comic, Tanya retreats to the backyard where she finds Sherryl relaxing. A debate begins on the subject of Neichelle's insistence in injecting erotica into the group's portfolio.

"To sex things up, or not?" (2 of 2)

Sherryl reveals her thoughts on the new character's position, and has found a kernel of truth in it, but not necessarily what Neichelle's aiming for.

For those of you who have been reading the "comic" document in my gallery, this is one of those situations that allows a third-party to slip into and influence the goings-on with one of more of their character/s. These two are conversing in a side yard with a public sidewalk on the other side of the hedges seen in the first page, so anybody walking by can see and overhear their conversation.

In the event no one has any input to offer on this debate, the story (such that it is) will simply continue on a default path I've already penciled out, and the invitation in the description will be modified.

1000 Hits (FA)

After a little less than 8 months, my FurAffinity gallery has finally accumulated 1000 hits. Time for my first milestone pic. Tanya glances over her shoulder just in time to spot the unusual event pass by (and by the time you look at it over on FA, it will have long passed :) )

The discussion is momentarily interrupted by Tina as events approach a fork in the story (whatever that is).

There's still room for anyone observing these events to offer a cameo with their character/s if they think they can influence the direction of this conversation. I can't guarantee that your characters' participation will convince any of mine to change their minds right away (of course it depends on the argument you can present through them), but their appearance will be referred to when the primary characters inevitably revisit this issue later on.

Tina gives Tanya a little reality check regardng her little rant in the last installment. I may have mentioned somewhere that she's a talkative sort. If not, well you know now.

Yes, I'm still trying to nail down a suitable method of coloring hair highlights. I think I got a little closer to the ideal.

What did Tina spot on the previous page? The first 'guest appearance' in this comic by a character other than my own. "Gadas" happens by the house and notices the sign inviting cameo appearances. I don't know if he was going to take up the cameo offer, but he's involved now. More to come--he hasn't been introduced to the others yet :)

Future slots are still open, btw.

Installment 13

To recap, I have had for some time an open invitation for other artists to cameo their characters in this comic, as my characters grow accustomed to being exhibited in an online gallery in this fandom. "Gadas" happened to be the first to take me up on the offer, hence Tina's excited reaction to his appearance, as this is the first time my characters get to interact with others not of my creation. Interested parties should look at the "comic" document in my gallery, then check out previous installments to get a feel for the goings-on.

Tanya's still worked-up over Nei'chelle almost flashing her (a couple of installments ago).

So maybe she can be forgiven for a lack of tact. Still, waiting a few seconds more to speak her mind could have saved her some foot-in-mouth disease.

Gadas finally gets a word in edgewise (I told you Tina's a chatterbox). Following this installment, Gadas' dialogue will be written by his 'owner' as he converses with Tanya here. Another guest character is scheduled to pop in next installment, the dialogue has already been written, including the dialogue contributed by the owners of the guest characters, so if you're following this, there's more to come.

This marks the resumption of my sort-of comic that started here on VCL, after more than a year hiatus while doing the Tina-Kritter side story. Picking up where the last installment left off, we find Gadas abandoned in the yard with Tanya, who is at a momentary loss to explain what's going on.
