Age is Nothing but a Number?

Comic 15 - 12/28/06

A little thingie I whipped up while penciling my '2000 Hits' pic. I figured it was time Cynthia got some face time on FurAffinity, since her "class picture" way back in my gallery there is less than flattering. So here she is, looking much better for (the end of) 2006.

Mudwalk Appreciation

The attention given to my first series of "mudwalk" pictures after posting to FurAffinity revealed some interest in seeing Tina lose her shoes in a mud bog, then continuing on barefooted. So I slapped together a comic that had her asking the viewership if they wanted to see her do it. And the viewership did.

1000 Hits (FA)

After a little less than 8 months, my FurAffinity gallery has finally accumulated 1000 hits. Time for my first milestone pic. Tanya glances over her shoulder just in time to spot the unusual event pass by (and by the time you look at it over on FA, it will have long passed :) )

Comic 14: pg 2

Gadas finally gets a word in edgewise (I told you Tina's a chatterbox). Following this installment, Gadas' dialogue will be written by his 'owner' as he converses with Tanya here. Another guest character is scheduled to pop in next installment, the dialogue has already been written, including the dialogue contributed by the owners of the guest characters, so if you're following this, there's more to come.

Resolution Interrupted

Normally I try to keep a seperate set of artworks on my VCL and FurAffinity galleries, but since this recent FA submission has some bearing on future events in the comic, I figured it should go here too.

A more detailed description of the image itself is on my FurAffinity page (same username), but you can get the gist of it by reading her body language, and the note she's writing.

Installment 13

To recap, I have had for some time an open invitation for other artists to cameo their characters in this comic, as my characters grow accustomed to being exhibited in an online gallery in this fandom. "Gadas" happened to be the first to take me up on the offer, hence Tina's excited reaction to his appearance, as this is the first time my characters get to interact with others not of my creation. Interested parties should look at the "comic" document in my gallery, then check out previous installments to get a feel for the goings-on.

Tina reappears from around the corner with a taken-by-surprise Gadas in tow.

Sometimes, your point of view can let your imagination run amok. Especially if you've just been in a huff about a nude character parading about your premises.

Tanya's still worked-up over Nei'chelle almost flashing her (a couple of installments ago).

So maybe she can be forgiven for a lack of tact. Still, waiting a few seconds more to speak her mind could have saved her some foot-in-mouth disease.

Exactly 366 days late :)

Originally late for '04 (see the date on her watch), it gets to be late for '05 too. Something to post to make an appearance till the next comic is finished, and some practice at adjusting color for a nighttime effect. Not quite there, but not as bright as I would've done a day scene.

Brush inking, finished with Micrografx Picture Publisher.

What did Tina spot on the previous page? The first 'guest appearance' in this comic by a character other than my own. "Gadas" happens by the house and notices the sign inviting cameo appearances. I don't know if he was going to take up the cameo offer, but he's involved now. More to come--he hasn't been introduced to the others yet :)

Future slots are still open, btw.

Tina gives Tanya a little reality check regardng her little rant in the last installment. I may have mentioned somewhere that she's a talkative sort. If not, well you know now.

Yes, I'm still trying to nail down a suitable method of coloring hair highlights. I think I got a little closer to the ideal.

"The Lewd Bomb"

Does she get to drop it?

Originally posted to FurAffinity (yes, the title is a take on that old "Get Smart" movie), this piece was intended to draw in comments/ suggestions on the direction my associated comic could take, which would in turn influence whether or not any of these characters could appear in explicit material (some of the characters are all for it, some are not).

I'm sure this one is plenty suggestive in it's own right, but it could've been a lot raunchier with some added, ahem "evidence of pleasure" :)

The discussion is momentarily interrupted by Tina as events approach a fork in the story (whatever that is).

There's still room for anyone observing these events to offer a cameo with their character/s if they think they can influence the direction of this conversation. I can't guarantee that your characters' participation will convince any of mine to change their minds right away (of course it depends on the argument you can present through them), but their appearance will be referred to when the primary characters inevitably revisit this issue later on.

"To sex things up, or not?" (2 of 2)

Sherryl reveals her thoughts on the new character's position, and has found a kernel of truth in it, but not necessarily what Neichelle's aiming for.

For those of you who have been reading the "comic" document in my gallery, this is one of those situations that allows a third-party to slip into and influence the goings-on with one of more of their character/s. These two are conversing in a side yard with a public sidewalk on the other side of the hedges seen in the first page, so anybody walking by can see and overhear their conversation.

In the event no one has any input to offer on this debate, the story (such that it is) will simply continue on a default path I've already penciled out, and the invitation in the description will be modified.

"To sex things up, or no?" (1 of 2)

Following the bit of "too much information" in the last comic, Tanya retreats to the backyard where she finds Sherryl relaxing. A debate begins on the subject of Neichelle's insistence in injecting erotica into the group's portfolio.

#9. An observation of a contradiction leads to a "too much information" moment.

The disagreemet between these two goes all the way back to this comic's origin on my homepage, for those who deign to dig deeper. (and yes, I didn't spot the typo till this was uploaded. I might correct it later)

After considering how long it took to do these comics in greyscale, I was inspired to give it a try in color, taking only slightly more than the usual too long.

This installment picks up on events depicted in the previous batch of standalone pics, and like the others, is open to guest appearances by those seeing an oppurtunity to influence upcoming events. See the 'comic' document in my gallery for details.

#8 Conclusion.

Having successfully crossed the mud, Tina takes a seat on solid ground, displaying the mess she's made of her shoes. Just as intended, she made it across without getting any inside her shoes.

#7 in the series was skipped since the original intent was to let her bog down past the tops of the shoes, after which she'd go for broke and keep slogging forward till she reached dry land. When time came to color these, the conclusion was altered, leaving it an orphan.

And yes, the 'panty shot' was an entirely unplanned detail.

Number 6 of 8 (but only 7 being posted)

In case you forgot just how big those platforms were...
Tina, momentarily off balance when her left foot sinks a little further than expected as her weight shifts to it.

In the course of trying to depict her mud-caked right shoe, I may have inadvertently learned how to draw a very wet surface. I wonder what that may be useful for, hmm...?

(yeah, I know--pr0n :D) Anyway,
