Slung So Low...
...that if those jeans rode any lower, it would be a misdemeanor. Experiment with photographic backdrop and backlighting, not to mention seeing how far one can sexy up a character who's still fully dressed (for the most part) :)

Convention sketch for M. Mitchell Marmel at Anthrocon 2006, colored and extensivley digitally reworked compared to the original. Tali and Nei'chelle converse while cooling off in a secluded stream. What might they be talking about? Not a clue :)

Prior to my hooking up with VCL, I spent a year and a half crafting a comic (now on my website) that explained how my characters, which pre-date my knowledge of fandom by up to a decade, came to appear here. Here, 'Tatiana' is depicted the way she appeared in the comic. A color version, as well as similar depictions of the remaining cast is slated for the near future.

After I posted the B/W version of this pic, I noticed that I had not drawn her jacket the way it appeared in the comic. So, after redrawing the necessary details, I present my latest attempt to re-acquaint myself with digital color. The base color of her jeans were color/textured using a photographic sample.

Tatiana Remix
Tatiana rides home on the subway one rainy night, sporting a modified hairdo that more closely mirrors the real-life style it was originally based upon, and a outfit I observed during my daily commute.

Tanya, 1999 style
An almost ten-year old pic that I fished out of a folde and cleaned up. Didn't have a background at first, so I pseudo-vector-arted one in so she wouldn't look like she was falling over. More detailed info at the [Comment] link.

Tina loves platform shoes. But a quirk of hers is she gets a kick out of slogging through gooey mud in them (the platforms let her go deeper without getting any in them). Continuing where the last comic left off, she's about to do the dirty deed to a pair of maryjanes you can see by Googling "Demonia Sin" (just so you know I'm not exaggerating the ones in the pic--and yes, the style name is just a coincidence). Up to seven more pics are slated to follow this one before the next comic.

Tina Trampoline-ing
This is another experiment in forced perspective. Unlike Needs No Decoration (only on my FurAffinity gallery owing to nudity), it didn't get repurposed for the holidays or gussied up with all sorts of backdrop-ery. Largely because there's no room for one. The title is meant to give some context to the perspective, as I know in the past some have seen my depictions of Tina here as suggesting a macro character. She's just jumping up and down on a trampoline :)

That was Foul, Yo!
Cynthia assured Tanya that it was OK to cross that huge slush puddle. After all, she's wearing the same boots and standing in the deepest part with no effect whatsoever.

Micro R/C was still relativley new when this piece was created, hence the expression on Tina's face when her boyfriend Todd took his Civic for a "test drive". Too bad real Zip Zaps won't climb hills like that :)

Zip zaps (color)
An old pic inked in 2004, that I colored up on a whim to keep some semblence of activity in my gallery. Originally posted to my VCL gallery as a B/W image.
