The lack of other information about this individual made it hard to find a visual depiction for this person. I made a "piss" poor decision the other day and I am sorry. I retracted the previous image because it was not, and continues not to be, my intention to direct this at Canadians. It's not even directed at her nationality, just her advice. I felt that this individual’s criticism of my work was right on, and I agreed with it. However, furry art is not all that I draw. It's certainly not the most serious effort, just fun. To assume that she knows enough about my abilities to draw to advise me, led to her sounding patronizing. No further rant.

I fail. This pic is playing off a previouse TP entry by Kilojara ( http://yerf.com/iB_html/uploads/post-12-52717-kidkasedries.jpg ) that I thought was one of the greatest puns ever. Yeah, so "Mew" is the coeficient of friction in Kinistetics (yay physics!) and AeroKat is copyrighted to Cindy Ramey.

She wanted a drawing of a tiger who would appear to be comming victoriously out of the darkness into the light. It is meant to be a visual metaphor for her brother's overcoming of cancer. He is generaly associated with tigers. Watercolor and prismacolor pencils on Bristol paper.

Anyway this was inspiered by a lecture I atended on the work of Brancusi. It was much more styalized to start ot with, but I'm realizing that sort of abstraction isn't really my thing. At first it was exciting, then it wasn't going where I wanted, and I finaly got up the motivation to move it along. I didn't upload the black and white, because quite frankly that version sucks. I think the colored pencils saved it. Inspirations for this I have to sharel: My roomie has this nice 20's/art neuvo lamp... and I watched Chicago right before I saw it. Combine that and jet lag after an 8hour flight across the Atlantic.
