Ah, the first upload after a loonnngg break! This is a comp of a logo I created for my good bud in Chi town! It's for her book club, the name of which has escaped me. \r\n\r\nthe idea was to get a feel for the diversity of the folks and the books involved.

Oi oi! these will be all out of order. excuse the spelling errors, i'm using a crappy-ass keyboard out of neccessity. don't ask.\r\nanyway...\r\ni'm currently coloring this piece, may take out of photoshop, dunno yet. this piece was sketched out after several decisions were made.\r\nAll I need to say: \r\nWhen the gods call, you listen.\r\n

"Don't Back Me Into A Corner"\r\nSphynx is a very pissed off kitty; seems someone was unintelligent enough to back her into a corner, and now they get what's coming to them!\r\n\r\npencil in sketchbook, as usual!\r\n\r\ncopyright Ren K!

"Sugar High ABout to Kick In" \r\nThis was in my sketchbook and a cute little girl was turning 1, so I finished it, framed it, and gave it to her! That blank stare you get sometimes with little kids.. I attributed it to a potential sugar high! This little fox-girl must have just had some cotton candy with her baloon. There is a companion piece to this.. not quite finished yet. \r\nThis piece was done on 8.5"x11" blue parchment-like cardstock with micron pens, colored pencil and marker.\r\n(c) Ren Krause (me!) 2002

My husband had an idea for a D&D campaign that isnpired me... slightly. so, this little gal, hangin' upside down and stretching, came about. In case you hadn't noticed, I like pencils.\r\n\r\n(c) Ren K.

This was created shortly after GenCon 2006! My Indy chic and I were watching a hentai (the name of which I have forgotten) when the inspiration hit between us. Her boobs were flopping all over! They kept hitting her in the face!\r\n\r\nPen and ink, © Ren Krause 2006

<G> I think this is just about my favorite! She was also printed in NAF #9. I think the idea was an ermine type species. She's pencil on 11x14 art paper.\r\n(c) Ren K.

OK, so technically, bunnies don't have awesome tails like this, but I still call her a Bunny. Where her swimsuit top went is anybody's guess. I like it. \r\n\r\nPen and ink. I think this might make a nice design for cafepress. Check it out later.\r\n\r\n© Ren Krause, 2006

Okay, it doesn't look like I'm going to get the watercolor done anytime soon. But, here is a nifty digital colored version for your amusement!\r\n© Ren k as usual!

This piece was created from a photo of me in Denver. My friend I was visiting thought we needed to take at least one or two shots of me. *blush*\r\nAnyways, graphite on acid-free paper as usual! Interesting note, anyone who went to MidWest FurFest should recognize this from the front of the convention book! I didn't think they were going to make it as big as they did! But I'm flattered :) (copyrights to Ren K as usual)

YAY! North American Fur #14 has finally arrived! I still haven't picked up my copy from my friend's house, but will do so shortly.\r\n\r\nThis here is the cover illo for NAF #14 *puffs with pride* My siamese, aptly named Deviant, has been transformed into an awesome magical dragon-kitty.\r\n\r\nUnfortunatley, due to bizarre circumstances, I was unable to complete anything else for NAF this round. Seems my muse is beating hirself into my head again, though, so perhaps I'll have something worthwhile for issue 15. (Things are still weird within 100 feet of me anywhere, but it's manageble now! Really. Ask Deviant, he'll tell you. Honest.)

Here she is, all cleaned up and inked. The scan really lost the detail in the shading, though, when I tried to clean up the background. \r\nShe still has no name. Yet. Nor an outfit. It gets kinda cold in the winter, don't want her to chill her nippies off later this year!

Okay, so it's not anthro, but it is very very cool ^-^\r\n\r\nThis was actually a project for a graphic arts class last year. The assignment was to take the four elements and circle(s) and utilize them somehow together. I went for broke. <G> \r\n\r\nThis is "The 5 Elements of Life" - Tiger represents earth, Dragonfly - air; Dragon - fire; Fish - water; and the Ankh represents Akasha. Their corosponding colors are included behind each. \r\n\r\nThis was created entirely (and tirelessly, it took me a bit especially the tiger) in Illustrator. *whew!*\r\n\r\nThis piece is © to me, Ren K (2003)

HaHaHaHa!! I dear friend told me this story. She as babysitting her nephew, who happened to have an ant farm. One of the ants had died. Right in front of them, two other ants cam to harvest the carcass, popping the head right off! He cried, "Make 'em stop Aunt Lori! Make' 'em stop!" (pencil)\r\n(c) Ren K.

Find this one in North American Fur #12! The fairy on the right is so mean! Toying with the cat like that! The name of the game is to see how long until something 'happens' I think. That poor little puppy fairy. I wonder if she can get away safely?\r\nPen and ink on art paper.

finally got around to uploading this one!, such a cute hatchling, playing with a dead thing! Seems a cryptozoologist is very happy with his finds today, he got hard evidence that dragons still roam his home area. and then he mysteriously disappeared, leaving only these photos and notes behind...\r\n\r\nTook several sketches and compiled them together to get this. Was published in North American Fur #13!\r\n

A friend told me she'd never look at Geoffery the Giraffe from Toys R Us the same way ever again! I'm so glad I could disturb someonw that much!\r\nI hated drawing the books, especially after I realized the perspective was off. Oh well. Pencils, of course!\r\n\r\n(c) Ren K.

If "blades" isn't my favorite, then this one is! She was printed in... yep! NAF #9! There's one more of my poieces in that issue, but I don't know what I was thinking sending that one in!\r\nNow... who saya koalas can't be sexy? And deadly!\r\n(11x14 art paper; medium: pencil)\r\n(c) Ren K.

^.^ this piece was printed in NAF #9! I, ah, had been trying for a lemur/ringtail something or other. I think I succeeded at the something or other! Original is pencil on 11x14 art paper.\r\n(c) me, Ren K, of course

Ugh. Um... I'm really stretching my personal limits on this one. Not my usual subject matter. Another potential character for a comic I'll probably never get around to uploading. \r\n\r\nSay hello to Mare. She is a horse/pig mix. Please don't ask. I ran out of room at the bottom of the page, so her feet weren't finished. Oh well.\r\n(Note: I don't know where the line came from, I thought I'd gotten rid of it)\r\n\r\nCreated in a drunken state, inked while sober. Copyright to Ren, of course. As usual, comments are encouraged.

Okay, as promised (I think) here is the inked version of Mighty Mouse! Not too terrible, eh? :) She's cute!

I had a migraine the day I sketched this out. Can ya tell? ^.^ I recently scanned it into PhotoShop, and brought in a couple of pages of text to liven it up a bit. If I feel up to it, I might even try some different backgrounds. You might think I'd had a bad day reading too long, and that's how I got the horrible headache. I don't remember what happened now. Maybe that was it.\r\n\r\nAnyhoo, pencil, prismacolor pencil, and my friend PhotoShop.\r\n© to Ren, as usual

My bud Mike Fautsch.. as a feline! With lots of spikey piercings. I have a feeling he'll like this one :) Hugs for Mauser!!\r\n\r\nGraphite on art paper (of course) and, as usual, work is © Ren Krause, 2005

A monkey! What kind?! Who knows? Not me! but she's cute! The grass should be darker, but my scanner wahed it out a bit. Oh well. No biggie. She's fluffy. She needs a name. Got any ideas?\r\nCreated with makers and micron pens! Wow, I'm starting to be friends with my markers!\r\n(c) me, Ren K
500x687 73897 bytes 2002.05.06
Oh look! it's a monkey.. no, it's a lion.. no, wait. What the heck is it?! She was supposed to be my new monkey again, but I misplaced her ears. So now Monkey has a twin sister who's a lion I guess. And look! She has a puppy friend! I wonder what they're loking at? I wondered that in the photo too.\r\nCreated with marker and micron pens again! probably needs more color in the windows, huh? Oh well.\r\n(c) Ren K (me!)

thought about a tatoo with everything going on, but can't decide on a decent enough design. So anyway, this dragon will look great on it's new home later... gonna be a of of work, but it shall be worth it... if I ever get the chance.

Graphite on off-white, acid free paper. Just something fun to do to keep me occupied in the evenings! This was done from a reference photo of a convention-goer to an anime con. I don't know which one, sorry.\r\n\r\nLook for her in my cafepress shop: http://www.cafepress.com/thirteenmoons\r\n\r\n© Ren K, 2005 as usual!
