I've had an eye infection for a few days. Pretty minor, but it did remind me of all the booger-eyed kittens of the feral cats that my grandmother leaves food for. Naturally, they were the nicest kittens of the litter.

Bishie Frison. It's funny.

This is page 5 of a 12-page comic story based on that fox hunter vixen from the main directory of this gallery (to be submitted to an anthology publication). I pencilled the first six pages between some time around Christmas and February, and put it on hold about when it started getting racy. That's right, it's going to be an adult comic, horror of horrors. There are no word balloons because it's going to be wordless, double horror.

Rejected Conbadge Poses: So I went and drew a conbadge, not for myself to use, since I may never go to another fur con, but as an example for a potential conbadge auction. The first one is from Conan O'Brien, and the last two are variations on Girls Gone Wild. I wanted to capture that somewhat-sexy-but-mostly-vacuous expression they all give where they show their top teeth, but cover their lower teeth with their lip and tongue.

And this one is a concept sketch for the America series. Somehow I felt like maybe somewhere down the line, a furry fan from Appalachia would be annoyed at me using the snake-handling church (or whatever they call it) to represent their state. Ah, but it was fun to draw. :)

I'm not the type who uploads sketch versions of pictures that I've finished or intended to finish. But this particular one turned out better than the finished image, and I like the subtle animalistic charicteristics that I made little thumbnail sketches of. Then there's the anime version of her face that I dashed off in about 60 seconds just to see if I could.

"It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic."\r\n\r\nAnother ND-inspired picture, anthro-fied, and therefore one notch up in geekiness. Art style inspired by Jim Lee and followers. Sketch lines left in...just because.

Here is one of the male America pieces that I didn't bring to completion. Aside from Kansas (which I finished), this is the best one, which explains why Alabama has the same species and face as this one. Both of them are supposed to be falling asleep, I hope that came across well enough. His little seat is nailed to a cypress knee, by the way.

This is why I shouldn't be allowed around soft lead pencils.\r\n\r\nDisclaimer for Mexicans: I apologize for besmirching Dia de los Muertos by running off the edge of the page on this sketch. I stand firm on the Chorus Line pose, though.

Foxy Gray. Drew this one almost two years ago, but somehow forgot to upload it, and now that I'm back on that job, it's appropriate. Action shot of Rey at work counting inventory. I like his spread toes and the action of his torso, but unfortunately I drew his body turning one way, and his tail the other. What can ya do?

One of the very college things that I never did in college was to go out on the admin building lawn on a sunny day and sketch all the pretty girls studying there. Too timid and/or lazy, perhaps. So I pulled this out of my ass in my dorm room instead. (sketch backlog, 2000)

My take on the whole Werewolf: The Apocalypse set of RPGs. Drawn from my extensive experience of not playing RPGs.
