404 HELL!!!!!\r\n\r\nI think it's pretty cool for VCL to have this little 404 feature for everyone to contribute to. I read about it in the Doc's, and just had to make one. It says I can place this image in either my main directory or Web, so I stuck it here hoping it will work, and everyone can see it without needing to have a real 404 error. There, it's the best of both worlds!\r\n\r\nhttp://us.vclart.net/wiki/Custom_404_Image for those out of the know.\r\n\r\nImage is all made with Corel Painter 8, and Wacom Graphire Tablet. I've seen many iPod ad parodies, and couldn't help making one myself. However, I'm stunned to see this particular idea hasn't been done before throughout all my searching. Of all things, it was the first idea that popped into my mind when I first saw these parodies cropping up. Ah well... I guess toilette humor is passé nowadays...

"Kimmy Kitty"\r\n\r\nOne of the waitresses at work is cute, and named Kim! This image is the result of her flipping through my artpad one slow day at work, and asking for me to draw her as a cat. She's working on getting a degree dealing in radiology or whatever deals with X-Raying people, so I played around with her "Day in the Life," and doodled away. This is a compilation of the best sketches, with the original cleaned up and colored. I might render the other pics, but for a free commission this is ridiculously worked upon... 'cause Rin does things for pretty girls.\r\n\r\nOriginals drawn with graphite-- the rest Corel Painter 8 and Graphire Wacom Tablet. Kim's Character © Kim, Artwork © Charles Barta

Remeber the name, "Istaqa." You will see a comic labelled by this name one day. This is some concept art I drew of some of the characters in this awesome story wich I and a friend are working on. As for this particular image, we have a crocodile bounty hunter still un-named, versus Coyote Pete, a bandit TURNING hero. ;)\r\n\r\nDrawn on Wacom Graphire Tablet, and Corel 8. Characters and image ©Charles Barta\r\n\r\n(For those who know me, isn't it nice to see I can draw something other than cat people? ;P' )

I just thought I'd upload this painting, since I haven't done anything in a while. This was actually for one of my art classes, where we had to pick a medium we didn't like to use. For me, I hate painting. In order to counter my hatred, and actually work on the painting, I chose my character Rindimo Cheetah. It's acrylic on some black gessoed masonite I had lying around. It was just big enough to be a real pain with my scanner, so I just photographed it with my digital camera... Hence it looking a little out of focus. Image and Character are © C. "Rindimo" Barta

And so my master escaped the confines of his prison in the royal palace, and escaped into the desert to raise his own kingdom, "But That Is Another Story." \r\n\r\nHeh heh... This is an image for a possible montage of images of Rindimo totterring his way through the anals of history. That is, if I ever draw his life story out. Rindimo Cheetah, and artwork ©Charles Barta. \r\n\r\nArtwork drawn with Wacom Graphire Tablet, and Corel Painter 8.
