Newest Reference - Mab

Another reference sheet for myself. I got my hair cut, finally.

The wing is optional, as it is in every form, and is very rarely drawn in. It's changed over the years and will continue to along with me I suspect.

The hooves, horn and certain markings have stayed with me for a long while now. Hmm.

I finally got to use one of those blank circle X indicators in a reference. I've always wanted to do that. Exciting! :D

What's Your Sign?

Surprise collaboration with Mary. Jumba didn't turn out the first time, so I figured I'd draw her in, then I coloured it for fun.

Jumba is either too small or slouching a lot.

The random light on her neck is from back when I painted the suit beige. It looked like pyjamas so I changed it, but it seems I left the reflection on her neck. Oh well.

Georgia and line work on the right side belong to Mary. There's a link to the original piece under "more info".

Bittersweet Freedom

Rosa tries to free Bittersweet of her bandages. This is an old sketch that I figured was worth playing with a bit, and I like the outcome.

SW - Pearls

This is the repainted version of the very first piece I ever did of SilverWing for Jolyn. It's a big deal to me, because it's superior to its original in every possible way.

Zodiac

Six years. Wow. I left my hair long for nostalgia, and because it looks awesome. I wrote all sorts of words across this before I finally decided to leave it wordless to match how speechless I am.

I need to learn to paint damask.

Trivullem - Eve

Trivullem's feelings for Eve illustrated, in an attempt to break my art block.

I got Triv's tail markings wrong, but.. oh well.

Illyana and Gunner

I had this illustration in mind for a long time, and finally put the work into finishing it. Parts of it could probably use a bit more work.

Gunner in traditional Irish clothing, and Illyana in traditional Italian dress to reflect their different heritages. I don't know where they are, exactly, but I think it's pretty.

Illyana's supposed to look a little distraught. Pregnancy is a touchy subject for her, and she was worried Gunner was going to bail on her. He didn't, though, and their baby was born quite healthy.

Girls Night

Eve and Neema huddle under a blanket in Eve's hobo-chic apartment while they wait for the popcorn to pop.

Ahh, girls night. Fights for the remote, binge drinking, a really bad porno marathon, and of course the obligatory How Much Fun We Had pictures, like this one of Eve blowing a raspberry at Neema.

Yet more departure from my usual colouring style. This is easily as much for any Neema fans out there as it is for Jolyn.

Snow Warfare - Ambush

See the girl in the background storming towards me? Yah, that'd be Meg.

Snowbanking is extremely nigh, unless SW gets that snowball ready in time and saves me.

Atel - High tide

Why do I always draw Atel with water? Oh well, here she is in her sparkly new rottie form, minus her much mourned bridge piercing.

I finally figured out Painter IX just in time to paint this. Bully for me.

What's Your Name?

Lyria introduces herself awkwardly to Lullaby while they sit in Garden and enjoy its ever perfect weather. When Lyria speaks, it just comes out as pictures in the air and musical sounds, sometimes, but never words.

I thought of drawing them together since they're both sort of muses having to do with love. Lyria specifically is in charge of the creativity that stems from love.

Eruwen - Snowfall

I wanted to draw Eruwen and Illia together, and this is what I got. Seen here with her winter colours, Illia snows on Eruwen in an attempt to cheer her up.

Winter

Rehash of "Pardon Me", this time with a donkey and a buttermilk buckskin mare.

It's still us. Meg changed her hair again since this, of course.

Looking at it again, I must be really cold. That's what I get for having a bare thigh in winter.
