Color Theory Tigers

This pair is done to illustrate how the human eye may percieve changes in a color thanks to the other colors it resides on or near. In this case the color affected most is the purple, but also the white and yellow.

These guys were FUN to do, even if simple.

Moth Color Wheel

Part of a design class, we were to make a color wheel. Naturally I had to get more creative. :3

Iori holding Sakara. I wish I had an Iori... Yet....though I'm single, I think I'd rather stay alone for the time being. Few people will ever be worth giving your all for. You know it when you see them, but then...people change. It's rarely for the better.

I often argue with myself...the tiger, with all her sadness-born rage, tends to be the angrier, bolder, and more reality-grounded one. She's usually right, but not always.

Crow Hearts

I don't remember if there was a purpose or not behind this one, but I DO remember being proud of the feathering.

I really really miss digital coloring...I feel extra bad for going through that Adesso tablet(Which was a wonderful piece of hardware) in a mere year. Maybe this'll convince me to get a wacom...

A doodle gone wild. I like my little crow raven man thing. Even though he changes colors and his wings fall off/reappear, among other inconsistencies. XD

I drew it after Tuesday night, after I had seen Shanda for the first time in a long while. I was a lot happier to see her than I looked, I had really missed her. :3

A beautiful dapple-gray horse. Was looking for an unusual(For me) species to use for my male practice. I borrowed the pose from my penguin mini for this and I rather like the curviness of it.

8.5x11 cardstock, copic marker, gel pen. Believe it or not, this is my first equine drawn in years. I never was the horse-obsessed girl as a kid, though I certainly loved them.

Murder

Titled 'murder' because a group of crows is a murder of crows!

Another design 1 project, take an image and repeat it a minimum of ten times. I chose a crow because I wanted something birdy and in the end this was simple, as my hands were acting up HORRIBLY and I couldn't go more complex.

What d you see? Eight insects? Four? Diamonds? Arrows?

Who ever said Despair was sad?

Despair isn't sadness. It's hopelessness. And with hopelessness, comes anger, frustration, violence, and the snapping point of the mind. And some sadness as well. But then, I tend to suffer through my unhappiness and react instead through my anger.

One person. One, single individual. Is driving me insane.

But then...they don't care. They have a new loved one. And while I'm not looking for love, simply a chance to sort other issues out, he's far too busy with this girl and all the other people he 'loves' to say a thing to me.

Vitium

This is a 19x24 bristol piece done with red ink, charcoal, a little black conte, and a little white acrylic.

I wanted to do a piece of Despair in abipedal body, since I tend to draw her quadrupedal and quite beastly. She is a female, though this isn't very easy to discern most of the time.

While working through this particular picture, I find that I really...REALLY don't have much patience with art. Maybe patience isn't the right word... I usually find myself blazing through a piece of artwork, working as fast as I can to bring the way the image feels to the surface. as a result, I tend to have very rough work if left to my own devices. I could do insanely smooth pencil work, yet I find it just isn't as satisfying when I can still get something across in a less refined way.

Nope, I'm not dead, as much as many probably wish I was.

No, I haven't been very productive artistically(Or any other way for that matter.), but now and then I do manage to do something worth scanning. I have other random little things, but they involve a lot more will power than I have to finish them. This here only has the head finished, but then that's all you need to see.

There's always something to remind me that as dead as I am, I'm still alive and so I still bleed. For those wondering, I'm fine. Just stuck in a rut...

Despair's mine.

This was a charcoal experiment in preparation for a series I want to do of my sometimes macabre and often fantastic characters in my Afterworld.

This is Despair, albeit a spikeless version of her. I learned a lot of things, made a lot of mistakes and did a few things right.

This...I am incredibly proud of. Drawn during the month or so I was having extreme personal problems, not long after my last round of uploads here.

I'm now seventeen, since June 3rd. This is...a weird feeling. I'm looking at offering commissions again, but no promises yet.

Guts are tasty, high in vitamins and minerals. Despair again.

See? Despair's a tiger. I just never got brave enough to stripe her while she's skull-faced and coated in blood. c_c Yes, that's a nose ring, pierced through the bone. Isn't she pretty?

A reference sheet at long-last for her, though it is admittedly quite quick. I mostly made this so poor miss Io will actually have something to look at for our trade!

I tweak Despair a great deal in my artwork, since she does come from a world where reality is dictated solely by the mind, but this should be a good general idea of her appearance.
