I hate humanity... Iori is all my unbound hate, anger, and vengeance. One wrong word, one wrong look, can set me off. All it takes is one time to lose all trust of the world, and then it takes only the tiniest provacation to set off a rage that nothing can really bring to a stop until it wears itself out.

Humanity, it's society, it's people, are worthless. Iori belongs to me.

I spent a short time out at McDowell park today, which happens to have a large population of blue herons. This one isn't terribly blue heron like(Kinda hard to spot them for markings and detaill when they're wheeling around), but I did have fun making up markings and trying to do something other than my usual weighted inking style.

A chibi doodle of Spyke that just kept going and going. My light pencil shading on this was murdered by the scanner+levels.

While I was working on this, I kept getting comments on how cute it was. Until the axe and unfortunate dog appeared. At which point I became a sick individual according to those watching me.

Sakara(Me) is holding my 'boy' white tiger plushie I named Iori, because my stuffed tigers will always be there even if people aren't. The butterfly is for the butterflies I see every day at college, the little blue and black ones that always flutter in front of me or rest on my knee while I draw... They always make me smile a little, even when the day has gone to total shit.

I was going to call this tears and fire, but I have another picture in mind for that title...

Iori, human style. I MUCH prefer the lineart to the digital version...anyone want to try their hand at coloring this for me?

Boy did I futz this one up. I WANTED a night city scape, but after about twelve hours total working on it I trashed the background and used a stock photo. The freaking coloring doesn't even match it, so if anyone wants to give a shot, the lineart's behind this pic in my gallery.

The most peaceful place on earth...is anywhere it is night and snowing, with all human beings tucked away from the cold. Sakara's just out thinking, though Iori and Raoul(Possible new character, the white male tiger. We'll see how often he's repeated.) worry a little more.

Title seemed appropriate anyway... The pose and anatomy is referenced from a photo in DK publishing's "Anatomy for the Artist" on page 168.

Iori is mine. I would like to note I haven't seriously done anything in a smudgy pencil in ages and it shows. The scanner also ate my more careful shading.

What IS failure? Failure is to lose yourself, to give up, to refuse another chance at righting what's wrong.

A ghostly looking Iori, mostly an exercise in male anatomy and form. I failed at the shading and form, but I don't care. I'm noticing that I tend to lapse into my own little world, particularly when I'm unhappy due to anger. Iori dominates my personality and I'm not always together in the real world.

What would you do with a life in your hands?
