I'm just angry. I'm not really drawing much, just sporadic sketches more than anything else. This little monster is a combination progressive school doodle and angry, feverish marker work. I've got a few other things but I'm not even bothering to upload them. I'm crotchety little ball of hate and that's not motivation for anything except violent daydreams and excessive slackery.

Sakara(Me) is holding my 'boy' white tiger plushie I named Iori, because my stuffed tigers will always be there even if people aren't. The butterfly is for the butterflies I see every day at college, the little blue and black ones that always flutter in front of me or rest on my knee while I draw... They always make me smile a little, even when the day has gone to total shit.

I was going to call this tears and fire, but I have another picture in mind for that title...

The cougar character is yet unnamed, but is very much likely here to stay.

He's based on a character within a contact-juggling act in Cirque du Soleil's 'Dralion' performance. The man is beautiful and I swear MUST be a cat at heart.

I do not own Cirque du Soleil. The man who does the performance is named Viktor Kee, and I'm VERY VERY tempted to name this cute thing as such.

Inspired by Cirque du Soleil's 'Dralion' performance. IT'S MESSY AND BRIGHT AND NOT MY USUAL AND I LIKE IT DAMMIT. It's a show with a new spin on the chinese circus, the creator describing it as an 'east meets west'. The lion is an important figure to the east, while the (Westernized)dragon to the other side of the world. Brought together to be the performance's namesake.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to get good symmetry in a piece of art? It's just...not something I do much. It was hell trying to get decent matchups in the wings and shoulder line. I gave it a good shot and called it 'done'. I don't like to fight with my art, because I feel it just wastes time.

Admins: I fixed the scanner line along the top and cleaned the right with to the best of my ability. However, that side of the art just isn't as clean as the left is due to the pencil used. I erased what I could, but doing anymore results in an undesired effect. I don't want it looking like I photoshop painted blobby white highlights on one side.

Title seemed appropriate anyway... The pose and anatomy is referenced from a photo in DK publishing's "Anatomy for the Artist" on page 168.

Iori is mine. I would like to note I haven't seriously done anything in a smudgy pencil in ages and it shows. The scanner also ate my more careful shading.

Striped or Bladed Bicorn

...actually it's a Sakara-corn in disguise. The scanner freaking ATE the careful, light shading. You know, like the base fur color for instance. Ah well... Anybody noticed I always do these guys with two horns instead of one? And that they tend to be more like blades rather than horns?

There was absolutely not reference used for this at all and it shows. Not that I normally use reference, but I never draw equines, and thus it would've been nice..but it was just a school doodle anyway. Jawbone isn't thick enough...got the ears right for a change.

Weird shit occurs nearly every day of my life. Sometimes this is about the only thing you can do.

Romulus of the previous upload, shifted to a plain wolf. Though he looks tough in the previous picture, his actual character is much more humble..apologetic...and resigned to his fate.

A fate that he has yet to realize could be very different than what he dreads.

Romulus(Property of my friend J-chan!) is the werewolf boy on the right, though he's more the traditional sort who doesn't REALLY want to be one and only changes by light of the full moon.

In the little universe I roleplay Sakara in with Romulus, her 'disease' is a little different and is controlled by her temper, though it's easier to lose it during full moon. She also however revels in what she is and secretly adores Romulus. <3

Romulus's hot, sexy man body belongs to Jessie Hasz. Sakara's mine. Romulus began as a Harry Potter universe creature, but he'll definately be branching out. <3333

I had no clue what any of her characters were, but I knew she loved tigers and had a few things to go by. 1) She loves tigers, 2) she has grey eyes, and 3) her favorite colors are red and green. I kinda ran with it. :D Hope you like it girl.

Someday I'll actually portray Jamal as he actually is. He's a sour apple, but moreso like the neighborhood kid who had to get tough to keep from being beaten up. He'd have a hard time hurting anyone who didn't do something to him first.
