Iori - Nude Study

A study of male musculature, because I'm way out of practice. I used a number of Hogarth anatomy books for references.
Iori's hair and brows are actually black, but I didn't fill them in as I'm debating coloring it with marker or on the comp.

Poor Iori is wearing a smiley over at DA, since I don't particularly trust or know how their filters display.

A nude study of Morgandria, who probably has the heaviest build out of all my characters. She's got ample proportions of everything, right down to her tailfloof, hair, and personality. Drawing rounder characters is more challenging than one might think.

You can only touch me once. Sure, I have patience. But once that meter finally reaches zero, and there is nothing left...there never will be anything again. That is it for you, no second chances. I bear enough scars, I'd only earn more with second chances.

I give you patience. What more could you want?

Sakara's mine. (Yes, she IS a tigerwolf. I just tend to show more feline tendencies{Think ¾ tiger, ¼ wolf}, as opposed to most tigerwolves which look like…well, wolves with tiger stripes.)

A bold and well-built opossum lady. This was another experiment of making anthros out of the less common species. Not a personal best, but I like her body and background, as well as my attempts to mix human and opossum feet.

A dragon, drawn near the end of school when I was SUPPOSED to be taking a test. We grade our papers with colored pencils since our teacher treated us like we're five years old. I however...got the GOTH PENCIL. So I free handed a dragon. I can do better, but it was good for only half an hour.

AnthroSketchXChange - Pac Rat

For PacRat over at the AnthroSketchXChange.

I looooove that I got a person who let me try for the creepy side of things, moreso that I got someone I could do a rat with! Rats can be tweaked into such wonderful monstery things.

Pac has a partially fused cranium and double tongues in each mouth. <3 The blood is largely because I don't imagine many things with fused faces are terribly healthy...

This is a lot less work than it looks like, the inks are only 6x6".

This is Paiseley, a canine and eastern dragon hybrid. She's my person for the Anthro Exchange over on LJ.

This was a really fun doodle, the frog Paiseley is riding and the color of the paper were the result of the frog theme we had for the month of February.

Sakara(Tiger, me), Dalton(Maine Coon, ~vermiciouskaknid), and Heather(Cat, ~RekaStormborn). Generally speaking, when Dalton's home, there's a Sakara to be found somewhere within five feet. At least when he's home for a visit, because I miss my people desperately.

They'll probably need a crowbar next time I see either of them.

Ankh Eternity

Iori, the character counterpart to Sakara. A siberian tiger that's huge, black, chaotic, and stubborn. It began as a doodle of wing shading, but soon blossomed into something bigger.

I kept pestering my boyfriend Rowan for species ideas for a random anthro. I don't remember the first species but the second was 'Penguin', so I looked up Emperor penguins and attempted to anthropomorphisize one. I think I succeeded quite well! I also think he's quite adorable and plan to keep him around.

I dumped Josh a week before Valentine's Day, so I've not been very okay.

Iori means something special to Sakara...but anyone outside of her only sees a monster... Unfortunately for them, he decided to live up to it.

That's a half-mask in his hand. There was a time when Iori was ashamed of his mutilated face. Until his rage began to turn as viscious to others as it was to himself.

After watching something really good that touches one deeply, I tend to somehow plug my own characters into that world. I saw the Phantom of the Opera(The Off-Broadway production) at the home Majestic theatre(WHOO, NEW YORK CITY. I should live there.) in February and was blown away. This is just one of those doodles.

I adore Gaston Leroux's novel "The Phantom of the Opera" as well as the Broadway monster. This is a snippet of the daydreams involving stories I live through and characters I admire.

This was originally supposed to be done in real media, but that idea got dropped. So I picked it up with this mass of scannings and gave it a little finishing on the computer.

The legs are too long and the view isn't quite right, but I do rather enjoy his(or her) face. <3

I don't much care for it as something finished, but it has elements that I like and I certainly learned a great deal. Given a reasonable amount of time(NOT two measly days...)to do it over, I have an entire different idea in mind.
