A water dragon. Flying. o_o; Completed a good while ago and I completely forgot about it.

I know I know, the filename says 'dragon'. But after looking at her, I realized I had simply never drawn horns. So I guess the mom is the drake and the father is the dragon, hence why only one nestling has wings. :3

Expect this to turn up in color later. It was the request of a friend who's in band with me, I figured I'd do it because 1) she's always been nice to me and 2) her boy just left for the Marines and won't be back for...87 days from today.

My hand hurts. Ow.

Might redo the background, either painting it over with acrylic, or by layering like hell with colored pencils.

There's a lot of things I do like and a lot of things I wish I could transfer or fix. But part of life is learning and doing better next time.

Vaguely symbolic of my kitty and I(He loves gryphons, blue is my favorite color and purple is his), but loose enough that it could apply to any loving pair.

Started out as just a general pony doodle and was finished due to the fact I wasn't able to draw anything else.

I rather like it though, it's all pencil. Even if my horse anatomy sucks and I had no reference at the time while I was doing this.

This dead dragon demon is tiny, as is the goat skull thing before it. Done up as a fairly simply tattoo idea. And because I like dead things.

I have SLAVED over this for THREE DAYS STRAIGHT.

...and I liked it. That's an ace of spades in Sakara's hand, and in the other, a glass of...whatever you'd like. For the record, those are eyeballs and dice floating in the drink.

I am quite pleased.

I promise I'm okay, it was just an abstract idea born of daydreaming. Pencil and a little patience. For the record, that's Sakara, done up in a more were-like form. The tail and back help show her more lupine features.

I'd love to design tattoos. I'm not terribly great at it, but I certainly try. This is one of my better attempts, ink and marker. Note that I only have greys, one red, and one tan marker. I didn't put any text, I figure your mind can fill that one in.

Our rennaisance festival (Carolina Rennaisance Festival) has a particular tent called the House of Play. They teach you the art of Sphereplay, which you can learn more about at [link].

Basically though, Spyke is exceptionally addicted. I had to draw it once. XP

Markers are a much greater strongpoint over colored pencils.

This, someplace, is being re-inked so I can do a full set of inks and then digitally color it. Colored pencils alone are NOT my strongpoint...about all I can do is layer blacks on top of watercolors and the like. But at least it's cute. :3 Spyke belongs to himself.

An old sketch of Luke I recently found in a .psd file I had never finished. So...I finished it tonight. This is probably the last finished piece of art I will do for awhile, at least until school starts for me on August 2nd.

Luke is a golden retriever/wolf hybrid mix who's always trying to turn his life around...it feels for him like every time he manages to make it one step forward, something else puts him two steps back.

Something Sakara said to him however always pops back...Do you judge your life by your successes or your failures?

No matter what happens...there is always a way out. Another option. Something you haven't thought of or tried. Even when all you want to do is sit down in the mud and give up...there is still a way. It might be hard...the chances of making it might be slim...

But there is always a light in the dark

Sometimes...you just can't draw. Somedays all that anxiety begins to boil over onto paper in the form of mad scribblings. It's not about being angsty, it's about cleaning out your brain. Once you dump all that crap onto paper, your mind is clear to do what you REALLY want to again.
