This was, along with a badge for AC, a color study to show the correct colorings and markings for Lantrech's head and neck. Where it ends here it goes into regular otter colorings and markings.\r\n

It was supposed to be some sort of fox/otter hybrid, but it just came out kinda flat. Not really what I wanted. Still, that would make an interesting character...\r\n

Sorry for 2 pics that are about the same, but this is the original picture for the Christmas card, so you dont have to trying to sort thru the rather confusing background. \r\nAnd we still look like we are floating.\r\nmy mate and I, at Christmas time. (I would do that, if I could.)\r\nTimber and Seaweed copyright thier players, art copyright me.

This is the final pic that I made for my mate and I to send out as Christmas emails this year, but due to a visitor, lack of time, and our lazy asses, we never got them sent out.\r\nSo here it is, for all to see. \r\nYes, I realize it looks like they are kinda floating there. I didnt notice till after I was done. Deal. \r\nTimber and Seaweed copyright thier players, art copyright me.

Image: foxjump.jpg   231x381 40083 bytes 2002.12.10

This is a very old pic of mine. I think I did this about 3 years ago. \r\nOddly enough, I dont think my coloring style has changed that much.

Image: ottergryph2.jpg   325x800 78881 bytes 2002.12.10

An ottergryph, looking at something. A fish, perhaps?

Image: grif.gif   800x674 20792 bytes 2002.12.10

a wingless ottergryph, ready to pounce! Look out!

Image: lantrechfull.gif   683x491 75048 bytes 2002.12.07

Lantrech Ottergryph, in all her glory!\r\n

Image: otterhorse.jpg   358x800 60508 bytes 2002.11.18

half otter, half seahorse, all silly.

Image: seahorse.jpg   454x800 62653 bytes 2002.11.18

Wierd stylized type seahorse... thing.

Image: timberbunny2.jpg   547x800 60839 bytes 2002.11.05

I had been playing Seaman (Dreamcast ROOLZ!) when I drew this, another bunny for my mate. It really does kinda suck, and I wouldnt have put it up if it wasnt so scary in the face- the fact like it does look like Seaman. Anyone who obsessed over that game like I did knows how creepy this is. It was very unintentional.

Image: timberbunny1.jpg   611x800 96360 bytes 2002.11.05

A pic I did for my mate Timber while we were just friends. He like bunnies and wolves. And I never cease to give him grief about it. \r\nHe cant decide whether he is predator or prey!\r\n\r\nTimber copyright his player, art copyright me.

Image: tbnottr.jpg   598x800 85368 bytes 2002.11.05

My friend Tobin as an otter.\r\nOkay, so he is really a bear of a guy, but he has his otterly good side.\r\nPuns suck. (yes, when I drew this he did have that beard). \r\nTobin copyright his character, art copyright me.

Image: spacecolor.jpg   562x800 78012 bytes 2002.11.05

The same pic as below, but this time I colored it with Prismacolors. Again, I was still working on my coloring style. Spaceroo copyright his player, art copyright me.

Image: roo3.jpg   549x800 74464 bytes 2002.11.05

I took a line art pic that I did for a kangaroo loving friend of mine and I cel colored it. I have gotten alot better since then. the character is copyright his player, art coprgiht me.

Image: rabbit.jpg   569x800 55225 bytes 2002.11.02

A friend of mine really likes bunnies. So I did this for him and gave it to him a while ago. I dont do real well when it comes to realistic pictures, and the scanner kinda blurred it, but for a first try on bunnies I dont think it is horribly bad.

Image: surfotter.jpg   503x800 78186 bytes 2002.11.02

A group of friends and I are p[laying in a game system called GURPS. One game we played had furry characters, and this was my character. He is an otter named Don Wilson (a piece of sushi for anyone who knows the semi-obscure reference in the name). He has electrical and water powers (it is a super-power game). And yes, they cna be used together. A rather nast combo. But he has one major flaw. He is a lush when it comes to alcoholic beverages. But we cant all be perfect.

Image: seaotter.jpg   800x379 56890 bytes 2002.11.02

A quick skech I did at work one day. Unfortunatly he looks like he is floating on top of the water and not in it, but this particular pose is harder than it looks!

Image: ripnratch2.jpg   734x694 114472 bytes 2002.11.02

After I did the first pic for those guys, I wanted to try something with computer color, so this is what I came up with. Even using the Internet it was suprisingly hard to find the right pic of Florida for this.

Image: ripnratch.jpg   670x724 91401 bytes 2002.11.02

When I first move down to Florida, these guys were nice enough to hang out with me, show me a few sights, and even take me out to an awesome BBQ! Mmm... Carolina BBQ. I think they have the original. read the copyright info on the pic.

Image: possum2.jpg   800x688 74601 bytes 2002.11.02

This is a very old pic, and yes, I know noone could really do this, but it was a pic for a possum loving friend of mine. He seemed to think it was alright for the time. \r\nCharacter copyright his player, art copyright me.\r\n

Image: possum.jpg   620x514 75917 bytes 2002.11.02

For a while I wanted to get a D&D game together, but I never could. It is a shame because this is one of the creatures that I wanted to throw at people.\r\nYou thought normal possums were kinda scary, take a look at this!

Image: ottersketch.jpg   450x796 64342 bytes 2002.11.02

Yes it is really rough, and yes it has problems, but I like how it isnt really totally statcic, your eye kinda flows down the image in a shape matching the otters. \r\nOr maybe I am full of it.

Image: paws.jpg   490x680 56832 bytes 2002.11.02

I have a problem drawing hands, so I did these a while ago as a test of not only paws, but also rendering in pen and ink. There are red, green, blue, and black pens in there, if I remember correctly. I still love this pic.

Image: ottercolor.jpg   586x800 66555 bytes 2002.11.02

This is a picture that I did about a year and a half ago. I was still developing my coloring style, but it show how it was developing. It is a kind of boring pose but I still kinda like it.

Image: mikefish.jpg   635x800 65596 bytes 2002.11.02

My first ever furry character (yes, I know he is scaly, but he still counts)!\r\nHe is also the main character in a comic book I made years ago, Before I knew of furry. There is a story behind this little guy. Email me if you are curious. I will give you a hint. It has to do with a certain band from Athens, GA that I love.

Image: naotter2.jpg   554x800 117087 bytes 2002.11.02

Another old pic that I really like. It took me a LONG DAMN TIME to get all these details in, ans in all honesty in the scan it is missing some of the smaller details. \r\nI dont like the way it was colored. I have changed my coloring style since then to make it more deep and rich. Also things arent REALLY as yellow as my scanner makes me out to be,\r\nBAD Acer! BAD!!!

Image: herbie3.jpg   551x800 85582 bytes 2002.11.02

This is a pic done for a local friend of mine. He has the original now, but this is a pic I did quite a while ago, and I think I can do better now. \r\nCharacter copyright his player, art copyright me.

Image: genie.jpg   429x800 40382 bytes 2002.10.31

I did this for a friend in his sketchbook. He likes magic and things like that. \r\nBut I feel bad because this is old and I think I could do better now. But you live, you learn.

Image: foxback1.jpg   480x800 92459 bytes 2002.10.28

I went thru a time when I was putting my pics to photo backgrounds. The picture is from my trip to New Orleans, and one of the graveyards Anne Rice wrote about in her Vampire series. Another very old pic I still like.
