The Lord of Bangladesh

(School Project)
2nd marker rendering in the series. I went with a painterly style on the background to push it back. I used pencil crayon touchups to sharpen the tiger and bring it forward for that "in focus photo effect".

I think this took me about 40 hours. I`m still learning lighting and all that so bear with me. Also, a side note. I`m not going for hyper realism here. I still like my realistic stuff looking like a traditional art piece.

Original is 5"x12". I just cropped it for uploading(so the detail would be more prominant)

Tria Markers, colored pencil touch ups and acrylic inks for white fur strokes and whiskers.
Photo(Reference is obligatory for rendering projects for marking) used with permission from the photographer, Emmanuel Keller.

The Gold of Namibia

edit: Just incase people miss it, the Cheetahs tail is foreshortened. A bit hard to pull off but I tried XD

Cheetah pannel. Predominantly created with markers. Some colored pencil touchups and a bit of acrylic inks. 5" by 12"

I didn`t really dig the reference the teachers chose for me to illustrate from. The cheetah looked very startled and on the verge of a nervous breakdown. So I drew the face so he`d look a bit more welcoming but still alert.

Lynx should be next.
