Take note that this might look fucked up for the following reasons:

-Its my first try with blending watercolors together
-Its my first try making a box
-Its my first try making an equine-anthro type creature. Its hard to get the proportions right because horses have big heads. o.o . thus making every other part of the body hard to control. for me anyways o.o

-I suck with coloring black and dark colors
-Gel pens scan shittilly =D

I also appoligize for the repetitive poses, theyre just easier to draw.

I haven't had the time lately to make large, finished pieces. I've been doing lots of studies. So I took a few favorite studies of mine, and then took some random doodley heads and put them together in this image.

Lots of Sekhmet/Lion/Cat heads ranging from very cartoony to alittle more realistic. Then thers an Andrewsarchus head(the beast with the long skull), some human bums with slightly too short legs. Wing studies. And a crappy pair of Silverwing and Dreamrunner heads.

I hope to actually finish a real piece of art this week or next week sometime 9.9

An idea I had to express how I've been feeling. But considering I've got my college portfolio to do, and I need variety, I decided that I will most likely drop this version and do a human/self portrait version in watercolor or graphite.

Synnabar Sketch

Wow, I haven't drawn anything in quadrupedal form for a long time. My feral anatomy skills are rustier than a nuns vagina n.n

Anyhow, just a little cartoony doodle for synnabar that I was thinking of making into a bookmark for her. I hate this thing,lol. I need to do different angles and expressions, my shit is getting too repetitive. Thats what happens when I draw from my head though. Eck.

Starting to practice what the theban sphinx should look like for swandogs beasts of yore portfolio. I'm happy to be part of it, I'm very thankful that swandog invited me. *thanks her a million times because she's always wanted to be part of a portfolio XD*

ok, first off I have like a year to get good at these things. But I was excited and wanted to start practicing. Its rather difficult to merge the human/feline anatomy without her looking like one of the thundercats or some stupid little anime catgirl. NONE of these designs are official. I want her to look alittle more feral,but at the same time I don't want her to lose her human features so people KNOW that she's the greek sphinx when they look at her.

progress on my theban sphinx for the beasts of yore portfolio! Were hoping to have it done by AC this year, but we'll see!

Some stuff is a little wonky. No reference. Lacking some detail. I want to add more jewelry, and obviously a background but before I add anything else I want to have the anatomy down good.

She will have bloody little paws and lips =D I definetly wanted her to have wild, big hair.

Also waiting on my set of tria markers to arrive in the mail before I color this baby. Get trias now while they're cheap. They're revamping everything and putting out the new versions in the fall.

The Chariot:

I'm dissapointed with this peice =(, but the point of the project was to make a peice entirely in ink, and this was my first attempt *shrug*

The piece is about bottling up feelings, then snapping later on. Delano, as i've probably mentioned a billion times before, is my Nimrahj character symbolic to darkness, depression, and all that gloomy shit.
