Based off of the song "Family Portrait" by P!nk. Sorry about the icky line running threw it. I had to scan it in two peices. This is just a representation of how I feel that the song fits my family's current and past situations. The large portrait with the silouettes is actually a real painting I am working on. I have to majorly clean up the background, and then blend her pants more, add the lines on the bench.. etc. Color a few more things. Then I need to marker the background and floor, black and grey. So. :)I might use this as a yerf application peice, though I doubt I'll try.. my ego isn't that huge. That, and there are tones of anotomy and paportinally wrong.

(BLOWS) Anyway, I used pastels in this one, My work shirt was just hanging, and I thought it would be a nice change to work on fabric folds. I like how the background turned out, and I plan on useing pastels more and more in the future for my drawings. :D If you are actually intrested in perchasing this, its 30 Dollars. Its huge, it was hard, and it took a few weeks. I doubt anyone is intrested in a red shirt though. :P Art work (c) Melissa Schroth.

His loin cloth could stand to be a bit darker, and the sky I could have spent more time on. These are also draeden's final colors, so as soon as I get the cramps in my hands to go away, I'll start coloring his refrance sheet. :)
