Do I suck or what? LOL. I'm actually -Proud- of this. Must go back to beating myself up and angsting like a good artist...

I was going to do something with this. Like... color it or something.

I like the spiral beaded earrings, but I've made some mistakes with them. I also like the plastic pearl 'wallet chains', and the tail bindings. But I don't claim to own any of them.

I was thinking about how a lot of people seem to percieve Kangaroos as sweet, cuddly, and cute creatures. Well, I just don't know about that.

I've heard stories about people getting their stomach slashed open by the huge, sharp hindclaws of an angry Grey the size of a man... It's not hard to believe Roos descended from some of the most vicious predators to ever roam Pangaea. Especially once you start drawing physical parallels between them and bipedal predatory dinosaurs.

This vicious Roo's name isn't Rancor, that's just a nickname I have for her at the moment. I might draw more of her, and I might colour this... But lately, I've been feeling rather discouraged in terms of my abilities and my future as an anthropomorphic artist. So, who knows?

There are some things I really like about this pic... and some things I can't stand. I'll probably try something like this again... the stark, contrasting lines and shadows...

I scribbled out the pose for this while listening to Depeche Mode. This is a preview, the picture is bigger and not yet finished... but I like the look of this draft.

I've deleted a lot of my older art. Especially the embarassing stuff. OMG I can be such a dweeb!

I just figured I hadn't uploaded anything Rassy in a while. So... It's a boring pic, I know, I just wanted a new color 3/4 portrait.

I haven't fixated on a single inking style, but I'll have to soon, I want to start working on the pages eventually. I like the boots, the wrinkles around his ankles.

When I was about 12 I started writing this book. I've long since forgotten where it is or what it was called, but I remember the basic gist. Two aliens were convicted of robbery, transformed into cats, and sent to Earth as punishment. (I was 12, you want intellectual? Bah) Anyways, one of the convicts was Redromad. I never put a lot of thought into what he looked like before he was turned into a cat... Maybe like this?

Ras's Halloween costume. The 'pupil' is a contact lense, and his hair will grow back. I like it, but he was complaining about the boots being too small.

This is also one of my better self-made backgrounds.

Rittley is ... Rittley. He's half Elf and half Djinn. And he's not really a 'furry', but he is an anthropoid nonhuman, which technically makes him anthropomorphic, so nyeah.

I haven't uploaded in a while, I've had a slow month or so, winter blahs. I'll make up for it eventually. I haven't updated my website in ages, either. Guh.

Hey, how often do you see one of these around, huh? I had to move some of the fins, and get rid of some others... but I figure it's a fair compromise.

So, it came and it went. My mom gave me a resin gargoyle, and a nice dinner out, so at least I had something to do. Other than that, I spent my birthday being bombarded with 9/11 memorial blather that had very little to do with reality.
So much negative stuff happened during the 7 days leading up to the 11th I can't begin to explain, but I thank the handful of people who were able to be cheerful for me.

I tried to do something unique for this kittyboy, so he's a melanistic Serval. He was supposed to be reddish-black, but this dark chocolate brown works on him, I think.

Anyways, I have a total earring obsession, it's like a fetish almost, so I always make time to draw the peircings. *drool* Mmmm, shiny... heheheh.

I've been going through old sketchbooks from when I was 12, 13, even older, digging up really cool old characters. Here's one of them. Skalez.
He's a dragon.
He has ear fingers. (This was before I started liking ear jewellery, but after I started liking huge ears).

Well, basically, Ras has been depressed lately, having to go through some difficult trials, and it's made him go a little crazy. That pathetic maniac cheerfulness... and a bit of a Rocky Horror fashion sense... Hopefully it'll pass.

This reminds me of something... someone else's art. But damn me if I remember who. It wasn't conscious, but I'm sure I was influenced... so whoever you are, feel... smug. Now. Do it. Yeah... I thought so.
