I think I've finally tamed the beast that is Painter7! Well okay, maybe not "tamed", but I've at least gotten it to stop kicking me in the head every time I try and play with it.

I've been wanting to mess around with a picture without lines for awhile now, but just never got around to it until now.

Sometimes a picture just commands to be drawn, and you gotta obey. I think maybe I needed to do some "cleansing" after Ursula's bad art challenge (which I am not uploading here! ;P), but whatever the case, this pic wanted out.

Okay. Valentine's Day is not a big deal for me, which is why Im so surprised this is the only holiday pic I've made in a long time. In fact, I barely remembered it (I was wondering why my bus pass was pink this month!). Im not bitter, and I dont really see the reason for the angst that so many people have on this day, but then, I dont see the need for a relationship to be happy.

The only reason I made this picture is that I had to whip up a card for my mom (it's tradition), and everyone else seemed to have one, so sure, why not.
Remember that there is more than one kind of love.

Another Bored at Work Doodle. I liked it enought to scan it and color it though, so I guess it graduated. I got a new scanner, and it takes less than 20 seconds to scan a greyscale image at "very fine" detail. My old one took about five minutes. AND this one is about half the size, and actually works with my OS. No more using the Sneaker Network to bring pics up from the old comp downstairs! Me= happy puppy.

Return of tribal ferrets?

This started as an "angry sketch" using my tablet. I decided I liked it though, so printed it out and inked it nicely. It lost a lot of the energy that the original sketch had, so Im kind of sad.

I wasnt feeling so great, when I did the original sketch, which was quite awhile ago, for anyone wondering. I think its been sitting on my harddrive for almost a month. When I'm feeling hurt, I also get angry, and I feel like picking a fight with somebody, the idea of tearing into someone for doing something stupid or pushing me gives me some malicious pleasure. I'd never hurt anyone I care about just because I was feeling down, but that stranger walking by had better not say anything that gives me an oppurtunity, or else...

A quick sketch that turned out far better than I thought it would. Drawing lots of naked people is definitely helping me improve my anatomy much faster than I thought it would. A few months ago I would never have been able to sketch this out in less than five minutes, and have it actually look right. Hooray for art college.

Reupload- I had to change a few things about it after I got some critique at the Yerf forums, so here it is again. It looks a lot better now.

I can attest to neither the quality nor the quantity of the crack I was smoking when I concieved this. But it amuses me to no end.
