Ah, a nice release of personal art inbetwixt commissions... =3 It's been a long time since I've drawn this guy, but he's very prevalent in my dreams (never in my nightmares, despite this title). Like Marvel's Venom, he has a white chest symbol as well, but I didn't include it here because it's just not a very good image to display his markings. Hey, can anybody take a wild guess on which villain I am hoping the next Spider Man flick will feature!?!?! God I love venom... I'll be a rabid cannibalistic raging Spidey fan if it isn't Venom in the third movie. ;___;

Commission for Katana Wolf, of her kitsune character Kanashimi. She only has one tail because this is the beginning of her journey as a kitsune, she has yet to earn her many other tails. Done with watercolours, coloured pencils and acrylics on smooth bristol.

I was feeling rusty with my acrylic skills and took a three and a half hour break to paint something up just for practice. Nothing meaningful, sort of sloppy, very tiny and even somwhat incorrect (as the corvid here is more raven-like), it was still good practice. One of these day I'm going to actually make a full acrylic painting.

I've gotten a lot of notes and emails about my last two submissions, which are both under the mature content filter on deviantart because of nudity. I've been told that you've lost respect for me for drawing naked bodies, be they human or fantasy creatures. Allow me to tell you all who care so much about seeing a breast or two, or a bit of some character's nether regions that there's a big difference between pornography and nudity in art. If you cannot recognize the difference, or if you loose respect for me for depicting either, then just don't look. =)

This piece is at once supposed to be something pretty to look at, but also embody the power all women have in them. We are all powerful emotionally, it's just a matter of harnassing a powerful emotion like anger to do something positive with it. The duality of meaning also touches on how women can be the most beautiful when in a state of pure emotion. A woman with passion is a beautiful woman. I realize it's for the most part off topic, but I'm hoping I'm not going over the line with this one.

Normally I'm not too big on contests though, I'm selfish and want a really good prize for my work if I win. ><;

Another older sketch I decided to put some colour onto with my friend's tablet. =3 I'm still experimenting with what I think looks good and what is do-able according to my current skills. I like this, but it lacks something in my opinion. =/ Ah well, this was some fun practise anyway!

Throwback to my traditional art! I haven't done any watercolour or pencil stuff in so long, I think I was rusty on this one. =/ This is a Valentine's day gift for my sweety, who loves rabbits and me, so I thought I'd combine them. I dumbed down my markings to their base colors to keep it simple, didn't want to make it too busy. I wanted to make something that was sexy, to his taste, and still definitly something I'd like and work-safe. If you're at all familiar with Genesis I think you'll get the double meaning of the title. =3 I like the tree more than the rabbit girl.

A trade with Sunwolf, done with graphite with photoshop color added. So 11 1/2 hours, 15 layers, and a totally dead wrist later (I use a mouse), I have this! I tried to get the effect of the sun glowing through the feathers, referencing some photos and a Nambroth piece for how to do that. I'm not sure I fully succeeded, but it still looks really snazzy to me! I worked pretty darn hard on it =3

Commission for Leopatra! Cub version of little leopatra gets her nose into trouble, sniffing into Exitus Kite's blue paint. ^^ I realize a mistake I made which is something I should have spotted in the sketch. The horizon line is too low for how far back the cave on the right goes, it's as if the two areas are made in two seperate perspectives. =/ I am sorry I made this kind of mistake on a commission, I hope it's still alright with Leopatra.

Another piece done with the same technique as the one for Bastek, this one's for Naryu! I did some stuff different this time, like placing her in more of a real environment, making the lamp's a bit morel like real objects (though they are still more of a decorative element in the whole picture), and added another light source. I like it, but there are some things I would have done differently methinks. Another instance where I used something I learned from the person this is for! Naryu taught me how to do the stars, which I think turned out better that the last piece I did with stars.

Yes, I know this is a shoe brand! But I came up with the nickname for my dog Wolfy before I figured out it was a brand name too. When my dog was younger he would get so excited, and run so fast that his little legs would become a blur, and he had to bank like a motorcycle to turn. ^^ I made my first 'rocketdog' image when he was an adolescent dog about 12 and a half years ago, and I've made new ones to hang on my door ever since. This is just the most recent, didn't take me too long, but I figured it was time for a new one.

Long overdue birthday gift for Bastek. Drew and shaded this with traditional media methods, pens and pencil, then scanned and painted in colour with photoshop. I'm putting this under digital because the digital part took longer than the traditional (not including tons of drawing and erasing that lantern design until I got something that I liked). Yay, fun with lightsources!

Kahateni and Midnight Fox enjoy a quiet peaceful winter atmosphere, the falling snow silently laying down new layers on the blanketed ground, all sounds hushed... *sigh* Painting this makes me miss living in the mountains so much. This is a card commission for Kahateni, for the holidays. =3 I hope to send these out VERY soon, now I just need to print them up!

A little something I've been doodling up in between homework assignments for a little while, thought I'd go ahead and upload it. This is a slight redesign of Wolf Nymph's face and head. I barely changed the eye markings and gave her a feather crest, though I'm not entirely happy with the feather markings. I'll switch it up later on when finals are over. Only two more days!

My christmas card this year my mom and I will be sending out to all our family and friends. This isn't quite supposed to be me as a kid, but it turned out sort of representing me anyway. The kitten is my cat Mitten, who passed away recently... So this is sort of my little tribute to him. The puppy is my dog Wolfy, who is really old, but still around. I figured he ought to have a cameo in this card as well. ^^
