Throwback to my traditional art! I haven't done any watercolour or pencil stuff in so long, I think I was rusty on this one. =/ This is a Valentine's day gift for my sweety, who loves rabbits and me, so I thought I'd combine them. I dumbed down my markings to their base colors to keep it simple, didn't want to make it too busy. I wanted to make something that was sexy, to his taste, and still definitly something I'd like and work-safe. If you're at all familiar with Genesis I think you'll get the double meaning of the title. =3 I like the tree more than the rabbit girl.

When I thought of this picture with the two main characters of "Sussurus" I thought of how cool it would feel to hug a very soft werewolf bearing no shirt. all fuzzy and comfy and soft. *grin* well, it didn't turn out as soft and fuzzy looking as I wanted it to, and the wolf's facial expression reminds me of a sleepy cow.. I'd like to retry this when I have patience to do so. Here I made the werewolf's coloring a little more warm and less grey.

My gargoyle persona finally coloured after nearly a week because of school interference. This really looks like crap on screen... oh well. Here she is, unnamed me-as-gargoyle.

I decided that she comes from a widespread pterodactylyn clan who range from the redwood forests of oregon to the red deserts to utah and arizona (or further in either direction). They are a product of a much more red coloured desert clan joining with a more brownish and dark-winged forest clan in ancient times.

They are a very robustly built clan, and eat quite a bit to keep up with their high performance gargoyle bodies. Which is why she is thinking about food right now. ^^;

I just got done working in this, a late birthday/christmas gift combined for my brother! I'm going to mat and frame it for him before he leaves for CA hopefully too. I know it seems similar to another piece of mine, and I did that on purpose. A while back I did a piece for my sister called 'Star Leopard'. My brother liked that one a lot, but for his piece I thought I'd replace pink with blue, and simplify the composition a bit. In the future I hope to make some limited edition prints of both these pieces to sell as a pair. Bah, talk is cheap, I need to get on the prints thing don't I?
Done on 11" X 17" smooth bristol with watercolour, coloured pencil and gouache.

This was from a four year old, extremely vague pose sketch. This isn't supposed to be sexual either, DESPITE the exposed parts and tentacles.. This is the second version of it, since the first one I started to not like and quite it. I later finished it because I felt bad for just leaving it there. Believe me, this IS the good twin..

Yet another dragon girl! This one is for Preston, because today we are celebrating our 4th year anniversary. Four strong horns for four strong years, and a bright red gem on her brow symbolyzing the coming year and how it will shine! Oh, and a nice round rear, symbolizing... sexiness? XD

I liked the Blue Star girl so much that I thought I'd draw a green moon one! I like her pose much more than the other one, but she's way too skinny. thinking of making a red one *ponder* this is getting monotonous though.

Greenvoice

Another little piece I did for myself just last night. Wolf Nymph again, but she is always a little different everytime I draw or paint her. I like the idea of a character design open to interpretation and change, like Nevar Raven once told me when I was redesigning Wolf Nymph.

Music is very important to me right now, nothing else in this world makes me feel as connected, alive and <i>good</i> as music can at this time... Singing to myself in my car or the shower (yes, I'm a shower singer), or wearing my (very prized) headphones all night while listening to the best of the Red Hot Chili Peppers or something. Music is life to me right now, I can't live without it. That obviously came out in this little painting. ^^

Proud Chesspiece

This wasn't really meant to be a chesspiece, but it reminded me of a knight when I was sculpting it. I made this a week ago when I really need to get this sculpy bug out of me. I probably should have been doing my homework. XD Anyway, it's Wolf Nymph in gryphon form, just for fun!

This was one of my first attempts at fur texture, tho it really didn't work too well. I'd like to redo this picture, but since I did it so recently, I'll wait a bit longer. I like this concept of a big scary werewolf gaurding a weak looking human, but in reality, she's probably more powerful than he is. *snicker*

It's been a while since I drew the rabbit version of preston (which is redundant if you know him), I made some changes. He said "do whatever you want hun", so I changed the bunny. ><; This isn't terribly good or exciting, I just wanted to draw him again, and use my markers a bit (markers under coloured pencil here).

Gentle Bronze Beast

This gentle bronze hexadragon wants nothing more than to cuddle with his kitten and observe the beauty of nature and it's creatures... A long time coming commission for Ksilebo! I have one more I'm going to do for him too, hopefully by tuesday if I can. I did this one first in graphite, then after scanning it used the 'multiply' feature to colour underneath the graphite piece.

Christmas with Ichigo

Anyway, holiday card for Nutmeg! Featuring Nutmeg ( the Blue/brown canine ) Ichigo ( the dude ) and a Kon doll ( the doll, duh! ). Personally, I LOVE Bleach, but I never think to draw fanart for any of the things I love like Bleach, Miyazaki movies, Battlestar Galactica, Spiderman... I sorta got a chance here, so I'm satisfied. ^^ I like his hair....

A couple nights ago I asked Frisket for a bit of advice, and her suggestions were very helpful. Perhaps it doesn't warrant giftart, but I guess I was in the mood to draw something like this anyway. It was a welcome distraction, drawn before my big fiasco though. It's likely this is the happiest art you'll see from me for a while. Bet I messed up something about her markings... oh well, it turned out ok. Yet another coloured sketch directly out of my sketchbook.
