For Z-Cat, the 8000th hit to my website. The last 4 hits or so I've offered, Z's always missed it by 1 or 2, heartily complaining to me each time. At last, he is satisfied, and now dances with his free picture in hand. I tried a new coloring style, I guess I like how it turned out. The background is an hour speed painting, the snow and cobblestones was another fortyfive minutes or so. The character took some time too ;) I'm happy, it's not often I can finish coloring in a day anymore... especially on something so complicated ^^ Varian is © Nick Bliss

For KISbrwulf (whom never gave me a real name).... who got *two* of my kiribans in a row. This is the first one (8500), I just doodled this up this afternoon and worked on it until...well, my drawing thumb screamed no more at the tablet :P Hope ye likes. You can crit, but I won't change it XD Devon is © KISbrwulf

This peice is an embodiment of the tenous grip that is my understanding of male anatomy.\r\n\r\nWolf anatomy too.\r\n\r\nAnd backgrounds.\r\n\r\nBut I've been sitting on this one for over a year now, so here it is.\r\n\r\nMoo. For the 8888th hit to my website.\r\n\r\nDevon is © Casey Ugone

Time to catch up. A little. Let's not stress ourselves here. For my website's 9000th hit. Remember the story about the boy with square eyes? That's how I feel.\r\n\r\nProgress image: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/17039117/\r\n\r\nDreva © Rebecca Lobo

Those of you who realize that my last kiriban upload was entitled 12345... honestly, I promise I know how to count.\r\n\r\nI'm just no good at drawing men. This took me so long to finally sit down and do. I'm a little ashamed of myself. At least it's done. I think this is better than my last of the same character, at least, so perhaps a little good came out of it.\r\n\r\nDevon belongs to Casey Ugone, artwork belongs to me

For the 9999th hit to my website. Oh yeah. That thing. \r\n\r\nFelt a need to do something different from what I have been of late. You think that sword is confusing? Try coming up with a scabbard for it. Whats this thing with ducks and swords suddenly? A nice change anyway, I think.\r\n\r\nHas anyone found the 'stop sucking' button in Photoshop yet? I think it's next to the lens flare, but I'm not sure. It certainly would make things a lot easier :P\r\n\r\nRough is © Antonia C. Schad

I promise you guys. The only way to make sure I do a request fast is to give me a FEMALE character. I don't really like this... and avoided working on it at every turn. \r\n\r\nThe best part, by a wide margin, is the scar on his face \r\n\r\nAiden belongs to Mercy Knight.\r\nArtwork © me.

I'm trying to see if one's hand really can fall off as a result of too much drawing. So far, I am simply sore and fatigued.\r\n\r\nSometimes my kiriban winners really luck out o.o\r\n\r\nAix belongs to Rain, Art belongs to me.

I'm not actually sure what would compell someone to stand on a streetcorner in downtown LA, lean back, and ignore the searing paint of a lightsaber in your butt (and not notice that the lightsaber isn't casting any light). And yet. Here we are. A late birthday image for her owner. The first inked background I've ever tried. Yes. I know the perspective is off. Damn you and your vanishing points.\r\n\r\nAseka is © Michelle Latta\r\nArt © Shannon Fowler

Not quite as neat and orderly as 'The Roadside', but supposed to be somewhat the same idea. This was a quicker drawing done over a few hours in Photoshop. Anatomical errors whoopie.\r\n\r\nIt's occured to me that I've been drawing Winterwing/Wildwing's beaks far, far too short. Blah.\r\n\r\n\r\nI realize that without context, this image becomes somewhat suggestive, and you'll just have to deal with it. It comes from the same storyline as the Roadside peice, except a little over a year down the road (it occurs to me that their hair grows really, really fast. teheoops).\r\n\r\nCharacters and artwork belong to me.

Doodle, me testing out my new Wacom Tablet of Love and Peace. (No more doom!) I think it's really cool, and a lot easier on my hand (plenty of doom there). Anyway, a Swan character I've decided to name Awrena. You may see her in a comic eventually-once I learn to draw. Awrena is © Shannon Fowler

Like 'Fizz', this was sketched out during my time at job-of-hell and abandoned. Can you tell I felt a little..... icky?\r\n\r\nAnyway. There was text, once, but it's been far too long foor me to remember or care. This kinda turned into an expiriment with atmosphere and lighting, and I'm loving how resizeing/jpging ruinged it. Oh well.\r\n\r\nEmily is © me.

Recently I've found the wonderful doodlage of the Bic pen, to the point where I think I may have to pull out a new sketchbook specifically for them, so I don't like, waste my good ones on it XD Anyway, concept art for a project I... may never, ever get to. I've been hiding the rest of the concept art behind friends-locked journal filters... but this one I liked enough to share around. Mylie, who's name may change, is © Shannon Fowler, the poem is © Stephen King, and congrats to anyone who can read my handwriting, which yes, is always that bad.

Concept work for a joint comic me and my 'buds' are planning, with the working name of 'Blue's a Funny Color'. If she's so wannabe goth you think your head will explode, then good. She's supposed to be a parody of all those types you find in the furry universe. (you know who you are). She's a Raven, btw. I suppose it'd be funnier if she were like, a bluebird, but tough :P\r\n\r\nThi is © Shannon Fowler

A late b-day pic for Michelle of her duck character. One horrid challange of drawing Calista is trying to come up with an image that doesn't look like the other 1,000 that exist of her. .... yeah.... definatly had to use a ref on that pose. I've owed this for a while, though I'm not terribly sure if anyone quite remembers why. Cali seems to get a lot of art out of me that way. A silly, worhtless pinup. But it makes me happy. It also makes the guys next to me in class go 'Hey baby'. Calista is © Michelle Latta

I don't know how I always owe Cali art. No, seriously, I don't. Her name just keeps showing up on the list. It would figure that I've finished this and her birthday is next month, so I get to do another.\r\n\r\nThis was more for the fun with color than the subject matter. When art stops being this much fun, I promise to rid the world of my existance :) Calista is © Michelle Latta ( http://caliosidhe.deviantart.com ), Artwork © Shannon Fowler\r\n\r\nDetail image (because I forgot about that whole *resizing* thing): http://www.darkelementals.com/detail/calidetail.jpg\r\nProgress image: http://www.darkelementals.com/detail/caliprogress.jpg

Michelle Latta (otherwise known as Calista), requested that I color this peice. The lineart is completly hers, I just ruined it. It wasn't until after I gave this to her and she took off that I noticed my classic touch (read as stray marks) were in it. This is the revised version, I hope I can get it to her soon. Character and line art © Michelle Latta\r\n\r\nHer stuff can be found at http://vcl.ctrl-c.liu.se/vcl/Artists/Calista

People seem to like my stupid humor over other... more intricate endevors :P So, a commission I've owed for a while, and a return of those bizzare squirrels. I wouldn't take this too seriously.\r\n\r\nCamden is © Icelightning, Squirrels are © me...

When I first created Emily, perhaps 7 years ago now, she was more of a hyperactive thing, only angry when she was separated from her coffee mug. But then, around '01, she started turning into something far more malicious and perhaps... evil? Anyway, despite her movement away from a Mary-Sue type character, her common sense hasn't improved much. Oh, and you can blame the Simpsons for the idea of the carpet and the bridge. Yes, it IS TV's fault 9.9 This is a fast one, keep in mind if you wish to critique.

Something for Aimee Major's board, an art challenge that was posted and I liked. I'm very pleased with this, the original being the first drawing of Emily I ever shared online. Pity me. Emily is © me.\r\n\r\nNot bad for someone who's self-taught, eh?\r\n\r\nKanthara's rules:\r\n\r\nThis becomes a serious exercise in proving to yourself your improvement over the last few years. I'll give this as a rule: the drawing you find and redraw has to be at least a year old. You also must remember that the object of this is not to be embarrased by your old artwork, but to learn from it. See what you used to do wrong, and see how you fixed the problems you had. \r\n

Your purpose is our purpose. Throw off the shackles of what you were born and become what we invision. Embrace that which we give you and turn against those who would destroy us. All will be rewarded, they will fear our power.\r\n\r\nAnd for the love of god, put on some pants.\r\n\r\n\r\nSomeone's going to say tenticle porn, and I'm going to say..... mmmm.... no.\r\n \r\nI admire http://fealasy.deviantart.com 's work, in that it looks deceptivly simple for the message it has. I got a vision of Emily's arm, and while I don't think this was the setting it was supposed to be in (one can never be sure with inspiration), this puts me a lot closer to actual self expression than normal. \r\n\r\nSHES A CYLON O.O\r\n\r\nEmily belongs to me, as does the art.

Something quick and fairly small, with a fairly limited color scheme. Though I've been kinda nitpicking at it for the last two hours or so, in between wrapping my brains out (gnah). I proclaim it finished!!!..... for now :P (that applies to both the image and the wrapping, of course). Emily is © myself..
