Mythology buffs tell us that the hellcat is much easier to spot than it's common cousin, the housecat, though they neglect to say why. Unfortunatly, the animal appears to thrive in the deeply poisonous decay of a dying world, amoung lava and sulfur and carbon dioxide, so they are quite hard to study and perhaps best left alone anyway. Boshe the kitty is © me.\r\n\r\nNo, I'm not a cat person.

Still not quite remembering the reizing thing 9.9 This one gave me so much trouble it hardly seems worth it... and I don't like it as much as the last one... though since this lady's been waiting for her duck, she probably disagrees. Jonas is © Beth Broenell, Artwork © Shannon Fowler

I don't know how I always owe Cali art. No, seriously, I don't. Her name just keeps showing up on the list. It would figure that I've finished this and her birthday is next month, so I get to do another.\r\n\r\nThis was more for the fun with color than the subject matter. When art stops being this much fun, I promise to rid the world of my existance :) Calista is © Michelle Latta ( http://caliosidhe.deviantart.com ), Artwork © Shannon Fowler\r\n\r\nDetail image (because I forgot about that whole *resizing* thing): http://www.darkelementals.com/detail/calidetail.jpg\r\nProgress image: http://www.darkelementals.com/detail/caliprogress.jpg

When I first created Emily, perhaps 7 years ago now, she was more of a hyperactive thing, only angry when she was separated from her coffee mug. But then, around '01, she started turning into something far more malicious and perhaps... evil? Anyway, despite her movement away from a Mary-Sue type character, her common sense hasn't improved much. Oh, and you can blame the Simpsons for the idea of the carpet and the bridge. Yes, it IS TV's fault 9.9 This is a fast one, keep in mind if you wish to critique.

I figured out what's been into my birdfeeder. I don't think I'll interfere. Could possibly sell this one, if anyone would want it. I mean. It is a demon squirrel. Artwork © Shannon Fowler

The jury is still out on this one. May dissapear fairly fast, may not. All I know is I won't be joining the watercolor society anytime soon. Late submission for the Yerf Secret Santa-esk trade of october. Like. Really late. Ambrose is © Jenny Biggs, artwork © Shannon Fowler

People seem to like my stupid humor over other... more intricate endevors :P So, a commission I've owed for a while, and a return of those bizzare squirrels. I wouldn't take this too seriously.\r\n\r\nCamden is © Icelightning, Squirrels are © me...

Recently I've found the wonderful doodlage of the Bic pen, to the point where I think I may have to pull out a new sketchbook specifically for them, so I don't like, waste my good ones on it XD Anyway, concept art for a project I... may never, ever get to. I've been hiding the rest of the concept art behind friends-locked journal filters... but this one I liked enough to share around. Mylie, who's name may change, is © Shannon Fowler, the poem is © Stephen King, and congrats to anyone who can read my handwriting, which yes, is always that bad.

Sorry if there's any splotches I missed. I learned today why we don't play with india ink next to our open sketchbooks (we're smart artist, yes we is!). Anyway, uhmn. It's a duck. Winterwing is © me, the logo on his jacket is probably © Disney >.>

I thought this was pretty dumb and poorly drawn when a first did it, but now that it's a few months after the fact, this strikes me as rather amusing. I love the squirrel that's apparently yelling 'KAHN!' on Emily's head. Emily is © me, Lisa is © Juston DeCristofaro

Since I can't look at this without laughing or burning my eyes out, why not give it to a community that can. I have no idea what to do with it... and doubt I should try. I promise no more of these O.o Winterwing and Emily © Me.

Time to catch up. A little. Let's not stress ourselves here. For my website's 9000th hit. Remember the story about the boy with square eyes? That's how I feel.\r\n\r\nProgress image: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/17039117/\r\n\r\nDreva © Rebecca Lobo

I'm beginning to not believe this 'plug and play' ploy. Two hours later, having finally gotten Photoshop and my scanner on speaking terms once more, I suddenly realized I still don't know how to ink. Oh well.\r\n\r\nMy part of an lj based art trade. Drawing class totally has me into inking and organic shapes right now. So have some trees. Calista is © Michelle Latta

Uhmn. I suppose you can't tell it's anthro, expect the hint of the beak attatched to his head... but it is! I also promise you he is not smothering her.\r\n\r\nI'd forgotten how hard it is to draw 'bed scenes'. Especially when no one really feels like posing for you. Hense the bizzare place it cuts off. I'm writing sort of an 'alternate universe' story about my character Emily... And I realized that for it to be even slightly plausable, she'd have to be bald.\r\n\r\nThat, and I watched the first two episodes of Star Trek: TNG this morning. Does it bother anyone else that Patrick Stewart has looked the same for the last twenty years? Emily is © me.

Something quick and fairly small, with a fairly limited color scheme. Though I've been kinda nitpicking at it for the last two hours or so, in between wrapping my brains out (gnah). I proclaim it finished!!!..... for now :P (that applies to both the image and the wrapping, of course). Emily is © myself..

Had my own projects I was fiddling with for a few days, and suddenly the realization hit me that I should be a responsible artist \r\n\r\nAnyway, a gift out of the way for my 50th DevWatcher (ah yes! So there is reason to the rhyme!). It's a bit different from the original sketch I showed her. Heh ^^ Much thanks goes to http://www.caliosidhe.deviantart.com , who saved this from being the disaster the first vesion was ^^. Bunny © Lucky-Pony\r\n\r\nSorry about the re-upload folks. Gnarr. Another one that I've owed for a long time. The semester is finally over, and my internet connection is officially 'shakey', so what else should I do but start catching up on my commissioned stuff. This took me all day to do. Not because it was tricky, so much as I'm very easily distracted 9.9 For a trade I ran, once... Outcast/Hagusa © Eric

I must have redrawn this thing at least 16 times (and after that it was so sad I stopped counting). Still not happy, but at this point I suppose Ravette just wants her damned drawing. I realized later that I should have had her profile infront of me as I drew... so now Rave can show it to people as a ref image and tell them exactly what Emily did wrong 9.9\r\n\r\nAnyway, for the DUXMonthly trade that I ran once...\r\n\r\nThis taught me a lot about character rotations. Namely, this is not one. ;) Leila Mardrake is © Ravette
