Dancing Spots

I recently got this little sketchbook with multicolored paper, which is just the cutest! Unfortunately not the best kind of paper for colored pencils, I struggled a lot to make this look decent. But still fun! And she looks neat irl, there's iridescent paint on the cloth and gold paint for the jewelry. Shiiiny. :3

Deadly Games

My big piece for the end of 2007, beginning 2008. Worked on it new year's eve, even. Don't even ask how long it took, I have no idea, but I almost worked on it full time some days!

Commissioned by Reset. Firetail and Shin having a "contest" in a world of blue desert and abandoned cities. If Shin loses, Firetail takes her soul. But it's not fair, she's cheating! :3

The sand in the foreground was pretty heavily referenced, I couldn't get the ripples to look right. Rest of the shit's all mine, yay.

For a while I considered putting a watermark on it because even the web file is pretty big, but you know what, no. Assholes will always be assholes. But if you like my art and want to support what I do, you can buy a print from me. Watermarks ruin artwork.

Demon Shin

AC preorder commission, on the theme of "demon girl". The commissioner suggested I could use Shinnie for it, and of course I was more than happy to. :3

Saxay Poneh

Ok, this sexy boy is technically not mine anymore, but I am still allowed to show him off so yay! It is a commission with the reproduction rights sold as part of the deal, and he will be made into door hangers, magnets, tshirts (with clever sensoring, hehe) and prints, which you'll be able to get at Lagarto's, at I think as early as this upcoming AC.

This is pretty much the fist time I've used a photo as a background for any of my pieces, but circumstances warranted it, and I don't think it looks too horrible and out of place as they usually do, so it's all good! :D

Something I drew for Drakkor a while ago as a belated birthday gift. I can never finish things on time. *headdesks* I think it turned out nicely. ... My red is dying.

Decided to try something more realistic (well, sort of) sans cartoony eyes. Avec penis. I love this paper. It's just normal stationary paper I got years ago but the texture is awesome for just linework like this. Sold this lovely man at EF.

Feather

My character Itsumi with Lysander's feather. Little 5"x7" watercolor painting, just to test them out. I hate trying to mix colors, I get a nice one and then I usually run out of it and have to remix, except I can't get it right the second time around. Rar.

Cigarettes in both my last drawings are a purely coincidental thing. ;)

The coloring scanned pretty badly, looks kind of... green? o.O

Fly

This scanned badly. But it was either that or having the watercolor paper texture all over it. D: There is quite a bit more subtly blue sky visible in the original. Also, the feathers are now painted over in iridescent acrylic, it looks really neat!

All watercolor over graphite lines (except for aforementioned iridescent paint)

Frost

Another one I drew the last night at FC. This one I colored once I got back home though (home in this case being Switzerland, I'll be here until October now).

She'll be on sale at EF, whether I manage to get the time off work to make it there in person or not.

Fruit

I drew a lot of fruit themed pictures for FC this year. X)
Definitely not that great, it was done in one night on little sleep just chilling in Oregon. But it looked small and cute all framed together, so it's all good.

Fruit Snack

A collaboration between Zaush and I. BNG brought canvas board with him from the UK when I was staying at their place pre-FC and I decided to try it out. So I sketched the wolf and got Adam to sketch the Citra, and then I inked and colored it all. I can't use acrylics worth crap so I decided to color it in marker. It works, but it's more difficult to use the canvas than normal paper because of the heavy texture.

Gold and Silver

I've been pretty sick the past couple of days after what we think was eating some rather bad sushi. So.. in between naps here's another, this time more ambitious, watercolor piece. All watercolors and just a bit of white, black and gold acrylic paint. The gold scanned pretty bad actually, but that's to be expected. It looks really neat in person (so I'm a sucker for shiny things). The dragon was inspired by Skadjer's amazing ones.

Gotcha

This is for the awesome Artonis. Note that I have no idea if it's too dark or not, it was colored completely on my laptop, which is rather light and washes colors out.

Great Heights

The only piece I finished while I was at my man's house for two weeks. Sad! But I actually did a semi-elaborate background in traditional media for once, so it's not all bad. :B

This is another one of my feeble attempts at using watercolors. Still not quite getting how to use them efficiently, but at least this one -looks- like watercolors.

Coyote guy I did for the EF art show on some cool toned parchment. The paper is a pain in the ass to color on, but so pretty irl (can't really see it too well on the scan).
