Emerald Dream

Another one for AC. I love grrreen! This is mostly marker with a little acrylic for the details on her and on the chains.

Inspired by an AH! piece I saw which also had cool chainage and drapery going on.

Kacey's badge

A badge for the wonderful Kacey.
More acrylic practice, this has a marker base and then acrylics on top. I went a bit overboard on the purple lighting on this one. :P

Tenderness

A collaboration between Dark Natasha and I! I started by sketching out the horsie boy on the left, passed it on to Natasha at a con and then she sketched the one on the right, as well as drew and colored the entire background. Then it was sent back to me and I colored both of the horses.

These pretty boys were sold at Anthrocon this summer. I'm very happy we could do this, Natasha has been one of the biggest influences for my art. :)

Yawn

I struggled so hard on the yawn expression, she looked like she was pissed and screaming something ("I'll get you next time!" *fist shake*) for the longest time. I think I finally got it down to something half-way convincing. I hope. :P

Placeholder art I did for the FAU website last year, with Ferrox relaxing after some fursuiting, playing some game on his DS. I find the concept of furries wearing fuirsuits rather cute! :B

(I realize there are a few perspective glitches in it, but I'm still quite happy with the coloring)

99% watercolor, with a tad of white acrylic ink for the highlights.

Seashell

5"x7" watercolor piece, with a bit of white acrylic. As you can see, the background was a bit of an afterthought to the lineart, unfortunately. Or maybe it's just very hard sand, heh.

Bf and I joked that she doesn't need a bikini top; she's European! :O

Tiny little piece for FC. She has silver paint on the jewelry, and the little heart is iridescent.

As always, the white is not really as white irl, there's a lot of subtle shading missing.

Last of the EF pieces! Another one done while babbling on skype with erilo_crown. What seems to be an overly stocky wolf, I can't draw quad canines too well without reference.

This little guy is approx 3"x3", was made to fit into a cute little frame I have and is going to be at the EF art show as well as most of my recent uploads.

Yes that's a tennis ball, I guess he is a pocket woof. :P

Winter Spirit

We are One

I fought with this one. So, so much. The base color layer is watercolor and since I don't do the whole transferring thing (I sketch directly on the paper I will be finishing the drawing on), I did this on bristol instead of watercolor paper. Which didn't at all give me the results I envisioned and I thought I had ruined it at first. But then I kept working on it and "fixed" it, getting something different but that I still like. Ahh, art, you're a funny thing!

Last original I finished for the AC art show. I'll be at the con myself too, and am sitting with my friend auradeva at table B20, so stop by! Doing the regular sketchbooks-prints thing, and will also have pathfinders card decks and pin-up portfolio books for sale. :3

Mother Lioness

And now for something in a completely different vein. I'm not a one trick pony. ;P

A sort of a follow up to that fox with the ducklings I did a while ago, and I may do more. This is all watercolor (with graphite lines) and some reference was used for the lineart, but mostly just for the deer and for the lioness' face. This one is 7"x9"1/2 and will be in the AC art show.

I had fun with this one, I seldom have the excuse to actually do something in gray scale, which I secretly adore doing. ;P The original is pretty small, about 5"x7"1/2 and will be on sale in the AC art show. I also finally got my plane tickets so I will definitely be attending! Haven't been able to go to that con since 2006 because of my old job.
