A Valentines gift for my fiancé. I wanted to do something special for him this year but as he's working a late shift on the day this year I gave him his gift early :)

I spent a long time on this piece and put in a lot of effort - every single texture line was done by hand and the colouring took close to 5 hours to complete using 96(!) layers!

This is my submission for October's hybrid exchange.

My chosen one was Shinmaxwell's Great WhiteXScarlet Macaw, Pasebakhaenniut. I tell you, this picture was an utter pain in the ass to do. It doesn't show but I spent like, 5 hours at it (2 drawing/inking - 3 colouring).. it's just a shame it didn't turn out that well judging by the amount of time it took It's a shame the character was so hard for me to draw >< sharks are hard to do, as are wings (although I can do them much better I've not been in a wing mood recently - hence why all my winged chars are glaring at me).

I messed up his eye colour ;_;

My chosen one for this months Furry Cosplay Art Exchange (http://www.livejournal.com/community/furcosplaytrade) was Anjel who requested her character to be drawn as Mimiru from .hack

I haven't seen the show myself but I did the best I could with the references I had - the elbow pads were a bitch to try and get right, as was the sword so I just did my best at them both. I'm quite pleased with the result.

I also tried a new method of texturing/shading - not 100% keen on it but I'm still happy about it. The only thing I dislike is the background - I reeeally couldn't think of one so I just shoved her on a glowy gradient with stars, because everyone likes stars. I hope you like it Anjel!

This is Leuco, owned by magnoona.

They requested for their character to be drawn as Q from the Star Trek series - as Q appears in a silly amount of outfits I was spoilt for choice but I settled on the good ol' traditional star fleet uniform - simply because their outfits kick so much ass.

As a lil bit of useless info this is the first time I've ever drawn a deer - go me!

Lil birthday gifty for Missy Gabrielle, its her character Missy dressed as Rouge the bat!

I used no refs for this and I'm quite pleased with this, besides the wings. I really hate those wings but by the time I realised I didn't like them I'd inked them >.< she's wearing the wings btw - hence the purple straps.

Isn't it obvious that I hardly every use pencils?

This month my chosen one was kit foxfire and her avatar character, Kit. As it's October I've done her as a vampiress (the fangs give it away *snikkers*). Originally this had a really really kick ass background but we had a powercut and it got lost for eternity and I really didnt have the patience to redo it ^^; sorry for that Kit! I originally gave her wings as well (since Kit has optional wings in anthro form) but they didn't look right with the dress - and I love that dress too much :-P

wow, I'm brushing a lil too close to the deadline for my liking this month.

My chosen one for August was kookybat and their character, Kooky the Cat.

I have no idea why I turned her into Starfire... it just kinda happened one night. I remember reading that the character had a great imagination and loved daydreaming etc plus she reminded me a lot of Starfire personality wise - hence I decided to keep it.

I'm in love with her hair, it just looks so... pretty. Must use that technique in my other pics from now on instead of my usual one. Its so purdy!!!

This month I had the pleasure of drawing for theechidna87 in FAX2.

This is her Tasmanian tiger/basilisk hybrid character, The Echidna. I had a lot of fun doing this!

And yes, it was inspired by & referenced from the Underworld poster.

I decided to come back to the FAX2 this month and ended up with this lil guy.

He's a tiger/armadillo/vampire bat and belongs to tygermoonfoxx.. and he was actually quite hard to draw.

As a side note - I would be damned proud if I built a sandcastle like that!
