Believe it or not he is in watercolours, I just needed to shade over most of it with pencil after an accident (ie, my cat "investigating". The scan killed it a bit too, sorry Gravewalker!
He did have a cool gothic cross ring, but the scanner blurred it up and now I'm not sure what it looks like. Blah.

Um...lil story. I asked Regenald for an art trade without realising this was in fact his friend's char. But he said I could draw her anyway.

Done with zero visual aid...yaay!
count the mistakes..*ggls* there's prolly a million of them, especially since I had to do her from memory. I don't like the pants, I started doing a diamond effect on them but I screwed it up so I painted over it. Meh.

My chosen one for this months Furry Cosplay Art Exchange (http://www.livejournal.com/community/furcosplaytrade) was Anjel who requested her character to be drawn as Mimiru from .hack

I haven't seen the show myself but I did the best I could with the references I had - the elbow pads were a bitch to try and get right, as was the sword so I just did my best at them both. I'm quite pleased with the result.

I also tried a new method of texturing/shading - not 100% keen on it but I'm still happy about it. The only thing I dislike is the background - I reeeally couldn't think of one so I just shoved her on a glowy gradient with stars, because everyone likes stars. I hope you like it Anjel!
