Four years ago my cat Ginger passed away and as of late I've been thinking a lot about her. We grew up together, I was only 2 when we brought her home and she used to follow me everywhere from day one.

So, in memory of her I drew this picture - little Shirik needed a friend and she found one in her fluffy new companion!

Zenia is one of my other draguinea characters, named and based on my guinea pig of the same name. Zenia is around the size of a miniture shetland pony and spends most of her time in meadows playing with random critters she comes across, today it just happens to be a butterfly.

This whole picture was just an excuse to try and learn photoshop's pen tool

This is Tort.
Tort is a creature of an (as yet) unnamed species that I've been tinkering with the past few days - they are mammal hybrids with butterfly wings and markings inspired by real butterflies (for the curious, Tort is based on a UK Small tortoiseshell butterfly - hence the name).

Fear as I grace you all with art!

This is Nikita, an older character of mine but one I still love to bits. It scares me that I haven't really drawn her much since 2002, most probably because 1) I suck at wings (my old wings are just.. urgh, they make me cry) and 2) six tails is pretty hard to draw sometimes.

This took me bloody ages to colour because of the crappyness of my new sketchpad >.< took me damn near 30 minutes just to clean up the pic.

aint she just the cutest? And so RAINBOWY today!!! I usually put her in pink or lavender so I felt like a change. I like it ^^

The bunny is just a random bunny.. whos cosplaying as Sailor Moon. The idea amused me since the original Sailor Moon's name means rabbit as in Japan there is a story about a rabbit living on the moon (like we have the man on the moon) - Sailor Moon is full of Bunny references if you look hard enough.

I'm proud to say I used no references on this picture and I got it near-enough spot on. Yay for me!
