Many many many MANY years ago...when I was young and sweet and innocent, I first delved into the furry fandom. I was only 6 at the time (yup...I've been a fur 11 years now. Yay me!) and my fursona was "Jessi"..a stoat, and I thought that stoats were always white if they lived in cold places...so cuz I loved white stoats so much Jessi was an Ice Princess.
