Have you ever felt like everyone is just pushing you closer and closer to the edge, just waiting to see how far you can go, just waiting to see how much it takes until you snap and fall off? I've already fallen off once, but my wings caught my fall. Now that they're broken, if I fall again I don't think I'll be able to be saved... yet the whole world seems to wish to test me... seems to see how far it can take things until I snap...

SilverWing watches a thunderstorm in the distance from the [temporary] safety of a cliff ledge. She doesn't seem to care much as to if she falls over or not. I wanted to prove to myself that I could produce something slightly decent with paint - and I'm very happy to say that I like this image. It's done completely in gouache with a small bit of colored pencil on SilverWing.

This is Onyx, Sugar's sister. She's a black mousey, with dark grey underbelly, dark grey/pink/brownish tail and ears. I did this on black construction paper, just to see. It looks A LOT better IRL. Oh, well. I did this with the new set of prisma color pencils Hunter's mom gave me! I have SO MANY COLORS!! *explodes*

Onyx my mouse character and Caine, Paula's rat character. Caine has a thing for Onyx, and if it isn't insanely obvious - she has one for him. She's got bald patches in her fur since she's based off of my pet mouse Onyx... who has the same. Aw. I redesigned Onyx a LOT since I last drew her, but I like her this way. Caine has a goatee I think. ERG. x_x Jolyn loves Paula! :heart:

Last night my pet mouse, Onyx, passed away. She'd been sick all of her life, probably due to poor breeding. I found her in a cage of feeder mice, and she's a fancy mouse. That shouldn't have been so. I usually am not one to be biased towards my pets, but out of my mouse family Onyx was my favorite, because of her personality, her love, her kindness. I wish I could have done something for her, maybe if I had taken her to the vet sooner... I'll miss my little mouse. She was SO much more than a mouse to me. She was like a child.

So, here's my dog Travis, who died from a car accident when I was only 10 or so, welcoming Onyx to whatever lies after death (if anything). I'm not a spiritual person, but I like to hope that my little mouse's spirit will somehow live on. Goodbye Onyx. I love you.

anima and delu have a... strange relationship. most people think that anima is just cruel to beat up on delu, because she's childlike, weak, and timid. but most of the hurt he causes her is for a reason, it's because of what they represent in me.

anima is cruelty, he's everything i hate about myself and he's the one that makes me think "i'm so horrible. i hate myself" etc... then, delu is the one who represents complete and total submission, depression, self hatred. so, anima's what causes those feelings in me, hence his hatred of delu.

...bleh. no one really understands sorry i can't really explain it well. it makes sense in my head.

so this is just a sketch. and anima is sort of in his wrath form, hence the curled horns, no hair and spikes all over. trala.

This was drawn before the other Devon/Enrage picture, but I hated it so that's why I tried to doodle something better... all of this stuff is sketchy, for I've had no time to do anything else..

I had to spray hair spray on this to keep it from smearing. I find this funny. Because... now it smells good. *eats it*

Things aren't going well right now, not well at all. Even Anima was there for me while I was going through some of the toughest parts of my life. Perhaps there is a way for me to reconcile the good and bad parts of myself into one - and just become Jolyn, and have people accept me for who I am.

Yeah, so Hunter and my would-have-been 3 year anniversary was September 10th. Yet, as you can see, he's moved on. Quite quickly, might I add.
Already kissed. Sheeeeeeeesssssh. Took him a month to kiss me. Crazy boy. And I had to kiss him.

Yet, I'm... feeling alright.

Eeeee! My psycho Burlly-sama! *clings* It's been a long long time since I've drawn him. I was doodling in Painter Classic and this is what happened. Now that I'm about to collapse, I must go sleep. 3 am. Who cares. WeeeeeEEeeeeeeeee. *runs to watch TV and eat Reese's*

so, i decided to give ginger, pepper and smokey anthro forms. because i realize, that if they ever do leave me (which they inevitably will, but i can pretend they won't) i want them to live on forever through my charas, just like sugar, onyx, and oreo now do.

silverwing IS a combination of all 3 of my dogs, and my old dog travis. but still.

so, smokey the blue merle, ginger and pepper the sables. ginger's the oldest, pepper's second oldest and smokey is youngest. i tried to convey their personalities through their characters, and i think i did a pretty good job. i think i may have them be brothers and sister, even tho they aren't related irl. but neither are the mice... it's just easier that way.

Yet another new character. c_c I got an encyclopedia of animals, with everything except fish and insects. Got it cheap too, so I was looking through it, the bird section in particular when this parrot popped out at me - it was either him or a broadbill or something? I forget, but this is an Eastern Rosella Parrot, they live in the Eucalpyt forests of much of Eastern Australia :3

FINALLY we have a HAPPY Jolyn character.
Sugar was being used in my mind to represent happiness, but... since she was based off of my mouse and all, some character differences wouldn't work with that idea. She is pretty much purity at it's best, but... she was created after a pet, not from my mind. Make sense? Probably not, it doesn't to me. She's not all happiness, if that makes sense.

Anyway, Quinn is happiness, love, hope, friendship, forgiveness, purity, generosity... everything. He's a GREAT guy. He's short, and unlike some bird anthros his wings are on his arms... but he still has full mobility. ^^ He can fly or use them like gentle hands... He has the cute parrot feet and everything. Eee... he lives in a nice middle/upper class home with his family, he's an only child (for now, heh... knowing me it could change) and he's happy.

So basically, if you're sad - go to him. ~^

A little something for :iconmoonfeather: of our recent character couple, Raine and Sleet.

Raine is my little black horse emo boy. He's the only horse character I have, and even though I made him up years ago I never did anything with him. But then Mooners and I were talking about couples and she liked him, and we decided to do things with her Sleet and him so I had to draw them.
I don't know what specific breed of horse Raine is, cause I don't know much about horse breeds myself... so I'll look into that.

And Sleet... well I just adore him cause he's so hot and sexy and a PINK ZEBRA so I was really excited when Mooners mentioned him XD I am still struggling on my equines, but I'm working on it!

My new character, Raoul Jovino the maned wolf/spectacled bear hybrid meeting Paula's Collin, the little rottie/jackel/absynnian cat/wild cat hybrid. I think. Um. I mighta been off? He's Nihility and Phobia's kid...

Anyways, Collin gets sent to prison since he is framed for his sister (Malice)'s murder. When he arrives he's shown around the place by Raoul, since Collin will probably be a "member" of the group Raoul heads, which is the hybrid group in the prison. Ever watched Oz? It's like that.

Raoul's a baaaaad guy. o_o He's a lot like Adebesi from Oz, so he's only bad in the sense that he's killed before and used to be (and still is) a big druggie. So he uh... takes Collin under his wing. Oh my. Don't worry - he won't be TOO cruel to him. But uh. Yeah. You get the idea. c_c

Anima lubbs his Luccy. Yes, Anima hassa hooman form cuz I say so and it uh... makes... things, easier for Luccy an' him... aheheee... ^^;; Um, he's doing better. He's not gunna kill himself yet, nopes, cuz Luccy does still lubb him. But he's still having a mental breakdown. *Eva gives Anima some happy pills* *Anima eats Eva's hand* *Eva cries and runs away* Little lyric frum NIN's "Dead Souls" that I wuz listening ta when I was drawin this at a point...

Another thing I drew for Lindsay. ^_^ Well, see... she has these adoreable cow characters and I wanted to draw my new character Troi with one of them.
Troi is Savannah (Aya)'s character Todd's brother. Yep. They're both flamingly gay, and big on showing their gay pride. Troi has pinkish wavy hair, while Todd's is purple. (GO SEE HER ART!!)
Hmph.
So, Troi is being overly flirty with poor Zache, the more submissive of Lindsay's cowboys.
