When I drew tigershark1.jpg, this is what I entended. I wanted him to be a charging Mako with a gaping maw. Needless to say it didn't come out like that. So here's the second attempt. Still not a mako, instead it's my wereshark character in his halfbreed form. He's a great white shark, and can be vicious if provoked. I'm fairly pleased with the pose.\r\nGrant Cornell is (c) me.

demon1.jpg
Image: demon1.jpg   428x550 56778 bytes 2002.07.25

The Concessions Demon! The Dark Lord of the Referigerator! I drew this for my Sis, Mindite, after she told me about the names she earned doing concessions at a gaming group. I tried a bit different style with the peice, going with dark, bold outlines to life the figure from the background and make her the focus. I like the hair the best, as it has a stained-glass feel.\r\nArt is (c) me.

blacktip1.jpg
Image: blacktip1.jpg   550x341 33238 bytes 2002.07.24

A blacktip shark morph lounging on the bow of a fishing boat during a lazy summer afternoon. This was inspired during a recent fishing trip with My sis, Midnite, and my uncle Jim. I had to wait to get home before I could draw the pic, sinc eI didn't have any drawing supplies with me. Thanks again for the trip!\r\nThe blacktip is (c) me.

tigershark1.jpg
Image: tigershark1.jpg   550x384 41696 bytes 2002.07.19

Another shark morph. I'm pretty happy with this one, though it didn't come out as planned. I had wanted an attacking Mako with gamping jaws, and ended up with an exploring tiger shark! No matter, I tried a new technique for working with the markings, and I'm pleased.\r\nThe tiger shark is (c) me.

blueshark3.jpg
Image: blueshark3.jpg   509x550 41290 bytes 2002.07.12

The third and final blue shark. I'm pleased with the pose, anatomy, expression, and the fact I captured the blue shark 'look'. I've decided the trio will be circling a fishing net, pulling the catch from it and shredding it in the process.\r\nThe blue shark is (c) me.

blueshark2.jpg
Image: blueshark2.jpg   402x550 29801 bytes 2002.07.11

The second of three blue sharks. These are really just finished, inked sketches. I will redraw the figures for the final peice. On this one I want to fix the curve of the back, and make it more accented, along with curling the tail around more. Chances are this shark will be shredding a net, and have peices of rope in his claws.\r\nThe blue shark is (c) me.

blueshark1.jpg
Image: blueshark1.jpg   550x365 30722 bytes 2002.07.11

The first of three blue sharks I plan to do. These inked drawings will serve as guides for a larger pic. I'm thinking of doing it in either Watercolor or Colored pencil.\r\nThe blue shark is (c) me.

gage2.jpg
Image: gage2.jpg   313x550 37796 bytes 2002.07.07

I'm very pleased with the way this came out.\r\nIt started as a flash of an image in my head, and I took several, slow attempts at it. I would sketch on it a bit, then walk away for a while. I'm happy with the proportion, anatomy, expression, pose and linework. It looks exactly like it did in my head.\r\nHe's without a background intentionally. The background will be all CG when the image is colored. I want to experiment using some different methods of coloring to get the peice to look /exactly/ like what I have in my head. He will be leaning against a wall, for reference.\r\nGage is (c) me.

lion1.jpg
Image: lion1.jpg   395x550 49798 bytes 2002.07.03

A lion-morph looking at a holographic map. When it's colored I'm going to overlay a real map, and fade it to look transparent. This was done for a close friend of mine who inspired it with his ability to visualise a city map and name off addresses. \r\nArt (c) me.

grantcornell1.jpg
Image: grantcornell1.jpg   550x392 58702 bytes 2002.06.24

The three forms of a were-shark character for Twilight MUCK. Done in pen and ink, meant to be colored.\r\nArt (c) me.

hammerheads1.jpg
Image: hammerheads1.jpg   550x432 56071 bytes 2002.06.20

A pair of morphic Scalloped Hammerheads, just having emerged from the ocean on a nightly prowl on the land. I'm really proud of this peice, again I've come out of a slump. I used Poser 3, a neat 3D program, to help me find tthe poses I wanted to use. I recomment it for any artist!\r\nThe Hammerheads are (c) me.

kaze2c.jpg
Image: kaze2c.jpg   438x550 79598 bytes 2002.06.10

Wow, two good digital colorings in one night! That has to be a record for me. Again, this is a product of Photoshop 7. The best way to learn a new version of a proggie is to use the heck out of it.\r\nSecond in the series of 'Wiz Portraits' for FTL MUCK, this is Kaze, our Keeper of the Code, and my brother.\r\nKaze is (c) himself, art (c) me.

trio1.jpg
Image: trio1.jpg   378x500 35788 bytes 2002.06.10

A sketch of the 'Trinity' that makes up my personality. It's a really rough line drawing, inked with Micron pens. The original sketch was started during a layover in the Chicago Midway airport, on the way home from visiting my Dad.\r\nArt (c) me.

kyfhon2c.jpg
Image: kyfhon2c.jpg   436x550 60739 bytes 2002.06.09

A colored version of Kyfhon2.jpg. I finished this for my brother in spirit as a thank you for all the help he's given me over the years. Thanks Kyf!\r\nThe image is digitally colored in Photoshop 7, and has 2 digital photos I took incorperated into it.\r\nKyfhon is (c) himself, art is (c) me.

personalseal2.jpg
Image: personalseal2.jpg   414x500 23811 bytes 2002.06.02

I've redone my personal seal to reflect recent changes in beleifs and self. Yes, I change my mind often! I kept the same style as the first, though I've managed to pack in more detail and make it far more complicated. Typical 'me' manuver.\r\nDesign is (c) me.

dwayne1.jpg
Image: dwayne1.jpg   374x550 59062 bytes 2002.05.15

A crinos Black Spiral Dancer. He's mean, he's nasty, and most of all he's UGLY! Dwane Altman is a very unsavory character I'm contemplating playing on Twilight MUCK. I love evil bad guys!\r\nDwane is (c) me. BSDs and Garou are (c) White Wolf Publishing.

Raven-Hyena-Shark.jpg
Image: Raven-Hyena-Shark.jpg   425x550 34922 bytes 2002.05.14

I built this image using sketches I'd drawn, CorelDRAW! 10, Photoshop 5.5 and a lot of late-night time. It started out as an experiment after following a turorial in a PS book, but I expanded it out to become a T-shirt design for myself. I also designed a feline and a wolf in a similar fashion which I made into t-shirts for my Dad and my Sister.\r\nDesign is (c) me.

xanth3.jpg
Image: xanth3.jpg   500x493 51384 bytes 2002.04.10

The last of the old, recovered pics. This is another shot of Xanth, this time a profile portrait done in Sakura brushpen. I was trying to get away from my super-tight, ultra-detailed self and do something loose and wild. But I /still/ managed some detail. I'll never learn.\r\nXanth is (c) me.

xanth2.jpg
Image: xanth2.jpg   550x363 50870 bytes 2002.04.10

Another relic pulled from the archives. This one was actually a height study of Xanth, the wolf-demon. I was rather pleased with the overall linework, so when I uncovered in I decided to add it to the gallery. To be colored soon.\r\nXanth is (c) me.

cgcaprice1.jpg
Image: cgcaprice1.jpg   353x350 23822 bytes 2002.04.10

Again, an old, recovered pic. This is an Adobe Illistrator image basded on the earlier drawing of my Garou character, Caprice. It's entirely vectored, and I personally like the effect made by the hard-edged lines.\r\nCaprice is (c) me.

spear-tooth1c.jpg
Image: spear-tooth1c.jpg   550x425 58357 bytes 2002.04.10

I thought I had lost this one forever! It's an old coloring job, left intact from when I finished it back in college. My style's changed a lot, but I still think the work has merit. Most likely I'll recolor this, though I do like the background!\r\nSpear-Tooth is (c) me.

oryx1.jpg
Image: oryx1.jpg   319x500 30819 bytes 2002.04.10

I was looking through a pile of 'Mystery Discs' that I had found while cleaning up our office and I ran across a CD-RW of old artwork and original large format scans. This was one of the peices, and it's obvious it's older. The lines don't vary in weight because it was meant as a coloring peice, not a stand alone. I have it parially colored already, and when I finish it I'll upload it.\r\nThe Oryx is (c) me.

hyenaportrait2.jpg
Image: hyenaportrait2.jpg   485x600 30731 bytes 2002.04.05

This is the second version of the Hyena portrait from before. I sat and messed around with it, and added the gradient to lift the hyena away from the black, added the signature/date/copyright and allowed for a slightly larger pic to show detail.\r\nArt is (c) me.

hyenaportrait.jpg
Image: hyenaportrait.jpg   425x550 24072 bytes 2002.04.02

My first ever Photoshop 'Painting'. I'm fairly proud of it, and I think it's the longest I've ever worked on a single image in one sitting. Huge Thanks to Jakkal for teaching me the techniques!\r\nArt is (c) me.

Kichaa1.jpg
Image: Kichaa1.jpg   446x550 49165 bytes 2002.03.13

Sometimes I suprise myself.\r\nThis was inspired by the 'Truck Drawings' that I had been doing at work. I was pleased with the raven, and thought 'Might as well do one for real'. So I did. This peice took me several hours to complete, and is graphite on bristol board.\r\nThe subject of the peice is Kichaa, my Ajaba (were-hyena) in her crinos form. She's just a little intimidating, and can be found on Twilight MUCK.\r\nKichaa is (c) me.

truckraven1s.jpg
Image: truckraven1s.jpg   402x550 34711 bytes 2002.03.11

Tee hee hee. Again, this is what I do when I'm supposed to be working. I think this one came out really well, especially for being on the back of a script.\r\nArt is (c) me.

truckhyena1s.jpg
Image: truckhyena1s.jpg   461x550 48156 bytes 2002.03.09

This is what I do when I'm supposed to be working. An exceptionally peaceful game of hockey combined with no major production truck disasters left me to do some idle drawing. I have dubbed this fellow the 'Truck Hyena', because that's where I was at when I drew it.\r\nThe hyena is (c) me.

trinpoly2.jpg
Image: trinpoly2.jpg   410x500 51905 bytes 2002.03.01

Oh my! Something cute! In MY directory? This is a scary, scary thing. My lil' bros Dougie and Alexei were bugging me to do something cute, so for some reason I was inspired to draw Trin in her war form... As a pup! She's cute, and cuddly, and her wing feathers haven't even grown in! Awwww.\r\nTrinity is (c) me.

America1.jpg
Image: America1.jpg   385x550 74100 bytes 2002.03.01

I was inspired by a patriotic e-mail that I received, and this peice actually brought me out of a slump. I like it, and yes, that's Bin Laden under the eagle's talons.\r\nArt (c) me.

trinpoly1.jpg
Image: trinpoly1.jpg   550x422 42648 bytes 2002.02.23

This one takes a bit of explaining. I decided to combine all my favorite critters (who also represent parts of my personality) into one conglomerent creature. There's English Setter, Raven, Spotted Hyena, Mako Shark, Snake and a touch of equine in the beastie.\r\nTrinity and her polymorph form are (c) me.
