One of my all-time favorite characters, and one of my all time favorite drawings. Spear-Tooth, a mako shark 'morph, was actually a timid, nearly mute creature.\r\nSpear-Tooth is (c) me.
500x325 43318 bytes 2001.07.31
Another drawin of good old Spear-Tooth. Here he is, showing his dislike for motor boats in his domain, by tying seaweed around the victim's prop!\r\nSpear-Tooth is (c) me.
401x500 40314 bytes 2001.12.05
Here's Spear-Tooth again. I've also played the charater under the name Sha'toka, which I'm starting to like better than Spear-Tooth. But to keep the naming convention, I'll leave his name the same here. I was especially pleased with this pic as it was spontanious, and was done in a relatively short period of time.\r\nSpear-Tooth (Sha'toka) is (c) me.

Gift art for Spirit Wolf. Original line art and border were all inked with Microns, all color done with colored pencils. I'm pleased with the majority of this piece, though there are details I see that need tweaking.\r\n\r\nSpirit Wolf is (c) herself, art is (c) J.S. Lee

Call this a 'self portrait'. It's the black and white copy of what will be my DeviantArt ID when it's done. I worked of of a (hideous) RL photo of myself. This will be colored in colored pencils when complete.\r\nSteelJaw is (c) me.
412x550 49882 bytes 2003.07.17
The colored version of the previous picture. As I had stated, it got finished in colored pencil. I'm fairly proud of this one, the wrinkles in the clothing came out how I wanted them to. It also helped, using a photo as a reference.\r\nSteelJaw is (c) me.

'Storm Bringer'. This is a wereshark by the name of Dylan Fulton. She's a shortfin mako (Isurus oxyrhinchus). Done entirely in colored pencil, with an ink border. This was entered in an art show at the 2005 StarFest in Denver, and took first in fantasy.\r\n\r\nCharacter and artwork (c) J.S. Lee

Swaza was my first-ever MUCK character. I started out on a Lion King based MUCK and grew to furry from there. This particular pic started with a line drawing, then was computer colored and had the background added using CorelDRAW! 9.\r\nSwaza is (c) me.
418x550 39342 bytes 2002.11.14
This is Jake Sykes, a bullshark morph with a bad attitude. He was tailored for a brand new MUCK that was only a month old, but when I signed on today to see how things were going I found that the wizzes had completely changed the theme. Alas, I'll never get a chance to play this char on that MUCK, at least.\r\nI altered my usual style slightly in this drawing, putting clothing on a shark morph and giving him five fingers.\r\nJake Sykes is (c) me.

This critter is called a Pheasant Takkar, and is what my Bird Dogs were engineered to hunt. They're only about a foot and a quarter tall, and feed on grassland seeds and berries. Micron pens on hotpress sketch paper.\r\nTakkars are (c) me.
550x452 59817 bytes 2001.07.05
Another species I worked out for my upcomming (maybe) space-themed MUCK. This is a Takuri warrior. Takuries are bloodthirsty hunters, and particularly like hunting sentient prey. They're arch enemies are the Wolfians.\r\nTakuries are (c) me.
550x463 68176 bytes 2001.07.05
A colored version of the pic above. Done digitally with Photoshop 5.5.\r\nTakuries are (c) me.

The last of the three Star Warspics I did. Here's a close friend's character, Tar Tel Breen. He's a Gungan bounty hunter, with a dark and miserable past. He was my character's only friend on the Star Wars MUSH we played on.\r\nTar Tel Breen is (c) his player.
478x500 43343 bytes 2001.07.05
A telic is a saurian creature that is native to the planet Canin. It's somewhat of a pest, given it enjoys hunting livestock.\r\nTelics and Canin are (c) me.
557x500 79524 bytes 2001.07.05
Tequila is an anthro Cockateil, and the captain of a large starship. Alas, I don't play her anymore.\r\nTequila is (c) me.
404x550 48313 bytes 2001.12.05
This character's name is Garland Thorson. And if the name is mentioned on Furscape (a futuristic furry MUCK) you'll be met with mixed reactions. Dispite his quiet exterior and intellectual mind, he's a serial killer. One of the funnest characters I have ever played, but he did give me the creeps!\r\nThorson is (c) me.
550x384 41696 bytes 2002.07.19
Another shark morph. I'm pretty happy with this one, though it didn't come out as planned. I had wanted an attacking Mako with gamping jaws, and ended up with an exploring tiger shark! No matter, I tried a new technique for working with the markings, and I'm pleased.\r\nThe tiger shark is (c) me.
700x552 80263 bytes 2005.03.23
Mutant Great White shark that is a role-playing character of mine. Mechanical pencil on bristol board.\r\n\r\nArt and Character (c) J. S. "SteelJaw" Lee

Torvor, the bull elk, is yet another character in my 'Antlers and Horns' series. Here he is, bugling, as bull elk generally do.\r\nTorvor is (c) me.
310x358 23438 bytes 2001.08.17
These are two symbols that are used in a plot on a MUCK I play on. The first is the triangle that is seen on Trin's armor and the Black Shark. The second emblem is the insignia for the pack known as the 'Travelers'. Both are made exclusivly in Corel DRAW 10.\r\nArt (c) me.
379x550 52000 bytes 2001.12.05
It took me a long time to finally be able to draw this. While being several thousand miles from NYC, my dad was up there the day after the attack working for the press. He relayed images and descriptions to me, and I was deeply affected by what happened. A trubute to those of NYC.\r\nArt (c) me.
417x550 40177 bytes 2002.02.20
I tired of Trin's old armor design, so I redid it. This is what I was originally trying for with the first design, but I didn't come close. I've *very* pleased with the way the new design came out.\r\nThis is the front view, with a rear view of the detachable flight pack. The wings are shown fully extended, half extended, and closed. The flight pack contains extra battery packs as well.\r\nThe Anubis Armor is (c) me.
222x550 22720 bytes 2002.02.20
A side view of the Anubis Power Armor that Trinity wears. The Flight pack is detached in this pic, but you can easily see where it's placed. The large semi-circle plates on the helmet and the ears double as antennas and sensor arrays. The joints are plated as much as possible, for protection, and semi-circle guards try and minimalize vunerable 'soft spots'.\r\nThe Anubis Armor is (c) me.
312x500 35631 bytes 2001.08.10
Trinity in her suit of armor. She doesn't look like her, does she? The armor was built for her by Kaze, the current Cheif Engineer on the Dark Star. It's Wolfian in design, and custom tailored to her.\r\nArmor Design is (c) me, Wolfians (c) Kaze's player.
500x335 34064 bytes 2001.08.10
Another view of Trin's armor. Here you can see the wings, which are attached to the power/propulsion pack on the back of the suit. Also, the wrist-blades are extended in this view. The suit also has a disruptor pistol on each forearm, which was illistrated in the above picture.\r\nArmor design is (c) me.
296x500 37127 bytes 2001.07.05
Ah, my furry self! She's an English Setter with an attitude, as illistrated here. Her wings symbolize the Raven part of myself, and she doesn't have wings for RP purposes.\r\nTrinity is (c) me.
550x476 63096 bytes 2001.07.05
Trinity has an unusual talent: She can turn non-anthro at will. Here she is, doing what English Setters do best... Pointing!\r\nTrinity is (c) me.
320x500 40062 bytes 2001.07.05
Here's Trinity modeling one of her favorite outfits. She's a big tom-boy, like me, and so it doesn't bother her to dress in a vest and a long duster coat!\r\nTrinity is (c) me.
340x500 45680 bytes 2001.07.05
Here's Trinity, once again. She's dressed in an IASA uniform, and sitting in the command chair of her ship, the IASA - "Dark Star". Some say she's a little nutty, others blame it on her haunted ship.\r\nTrinity is (c) me.
424x600 99826 bytes 2001.07.13
Once in a great while I go detail-nuts. This has happened again. Like xanth1.jpg, this image started as a boredom project, and turned into a detailed, decene peice of art.\r\nHere's Trinity, my furry self, standing in front of the Gravity Drive core of her ship, the IASA - "Dark Star". I'm a huge fan of the movie Event Horizon, hence why Trin's ship has a gravity drive. The unusual architecture and the form of the rings is one reason I chose this location for a backdrop. This one is at the top of the 'to be colored list', as well. I've left the image slightly larger than usual to show the insane detail that drove me batty and took two days to complete.\r\nTrinity is (c) me, other elements are (c) their respective owners.
