Diablo, the Fire elemental, looks relatively perturbed as his older Earthen sister, Gaea, lectures him about the meainings of love, life, and all that poetic nonsense. Saniya, the Time elemental (the one wearing all the watches if that's not terribly obvious), listens on with amusement -- she barely ever speaks, but gets a kick out of Gaea's tendency to irritate Diablo.

The majority of Emilio's more interesting genetic possibilities didn't really seem to occur in him -- no brightly-colored exotic tail, no wings, just a very pale bit of blue worked its way into his rather feathery hair. Outside of the beak and the crown, you'd have no idea he was half peacock.

An unfortunate thing he did inherit, however, was an overall jittery demeanor. We're blaming that on the squirrel side. We've caught him an off moment here, however, and he probably wonders why the hell we're staring at him. Or possibly where his pants are.

I don't know what Mary Jane actually is outside of a shapely cloud. She looks kinda kangaroo-ish.

Few people know how developed my characters are...few people know that Orion gets his fur color from his mom...and few people know that his mother died of uterine cancer (hence his lack of siblings) when he was 8.

Wow, look everybody! Steff can color with COLORED PENCILS! Sure, not very well, but she can do it! She also happens to think this guy's layout is very nifty and will draw him again. As a side note, if you ever happen to run into him coming home from work or school, tell him he owes her three bucks.

Done in a little more than four hours (straight, no breaks) with watercolors, Prismacolor markers and pencils, and inked over several times with a Faber-Castell brush pen...the outline of the background was straightened in Paint Shop, the rest is entirely Real Media.

That was fun, I should try it again sometime.

So this mongoose and this cobra got really drunk at an office party...

I was thinking of shoulders, for some reason. Arms inspired by those of Tyler Dudren in the movie Fight Club (yeah, I know it's Bradd Pitt, but it's more comforting to think of my inspiration as Tyler =p). This is basic anatomy work, in all honesty (I love the arms). Also my newfound love: blue pencils. Weeee! I suspect this'll get moved to the sketches section, even though I cleaned it up quite a bit.
