When you're 5 years old, you don't have to worry about life. The biggest worry when you're five is if there's any green crayons left. I wish I was 5.

I'm taking a Gesture Drawing class at a local art school, where basically you sit in a room for two hours watching a model and having to draw a different pose every three seconds. Since I don't have a model at home, and was bored, I drew the cat. Sorta. I think my mom was disturbed that I anthropomorphicized him...oh well. Jupiter (c) himself, I'm puuur-etty sure.

While drawing on myself (yeah, don't ask) I thought about furries and the fact that they really can't have tattoos because of the fur...well, this guy's a Mexican Hairless, so no fur on him, and he's free to ink his skin all he wants. Doesn't his hair make him look Andy Warholish?

These were all--at one point--graphics for my website (which you must go look at RIGHT NOW! http://members.aol.com/stefferret/) or characters in stories I just colored out of boredom. And yes, that IS an anthropomorphic cactus. Let me name them all off: Charlene (cheetah), Alison (the cactus chick), random beatnik lion dude, lil' red dog, Lotaq (cute grey lion), Mayflower (the little flittery white fox with wings and antennae), MewMe (really, I have a mew form...), and Charles. All are (c) myself, though the lyrics on the sign are (c) Green Day.

Yeah, I know, another topless female (scroll down for one I uploaded earlier, melody01.jpg). But I drew this one a while ago, actually, and just got around to uploading it. So here ya go. She started out as a cat/rabbit and turned into something...weird. Eh, go figure.

I've been drawing quite a few dragony things lately. This kind lives in the water, obviously, due to it's lack of back legs. Part of a story I haven't written yet.

Wow, look everybody! Steff can color with COLORED PENCILS! Sure, not very well, but she can do it! She also happens to think this guy's layout is very nifty and will draw him again. As a side note, if you ever happen to run into him coming home from work or school, tell him he owes her three bucks.

One of my more interesting pair (not in *that* way) of characters, Elijah (ee-lie-ha) and Lucy. Elijah's a herpetologist with a knack for talking to those long slithery reptiles, born and raised in North Carolina but currently residing in South America. Originally, Lucy was gonna be a more interesting species of snake, like a black mamba or something, but I decided to finally just make up a species. And yes, I love snakes ^_^ The fandom needs more of them.

This started out as an innocent drawing of my Neopet (the most addictive game online, I swear), Kalikala, but then I decided to make it an anthro, and a guy, and blue instead of yellow. Obviously it's not Kali, but it started out that way.

Issa llama. A llama with glasses. A llama with glasses sitting on a hillside. Yup. It's a llama.

Another llama. A little less Disneyish this time, I think. And generally scary-looking. Do not mock the llama!

Surprisingly, I can throw together an okay comic strip if need be. Merry Whatever!

Don't worry, I'll upload a more jolly holiday pic tomorrow or Monday. And please don't take offense at this, it is not meant to insult religion/Santa Claus/Christmas/Hanukkah/The North Pole/those hats or anything else that would take offense from it. It's just some guy who's thrilled [sarcasm] that it's Christmas. At least I made an effort to write the word "expletive" =p. If anyone knows what species this guy is, tell me, I'd like to know.

I've had most of these lying around the hard drive for a while, thought I'd throw them together and share. This guy (who's quite nameless, I'm thinking maybe his nickname will be Syke though) was inspired by the song "Loser" by Beck. He's a cocky sonuvagun, lives in a one bedroom apartment in the bad part of town, works at Rob's Bagel Shack (kind of), and I'm thinking about writing a comic with him in it.

I dunno 'bout you, but this catwolf woke up with a smile on her face. It's the apocalypse! Quick, get to the bomb shelters! AUGH! I'm scaring myself o.O
