An <i>uile-bheist</i>, which is what the people of the continent of Breighten call creatures who evolved through magick as well as natural processes, and retain this in their current functioning. Most of them are simply capable of physical feats impossible without some magickal aid, such as the Striders, who, while built to be immensely strong and rapid sprinters anyhow, are able to utilise a specific, unique magick to themselves that grants them both incredible stamina, and even further speed, so that no animal or uile-bheist of the land is a match for them. This creature is small, the size of a hawk, and is called a Kremte; despite its heavy build and odd wing structure, it has minute control over the air around it, allowing it to soar and dive with equal grace to a bird of prey.
