	Image: abstract-dragon.gif 658x407 11580 bytes 1999.11.08 This is one of what I call my "iconics". The idea was to draw a recognisable creature using as abstract a series of lines as possible. I"ve been told they would make great tattos- but the people I talked to at a place in Tucson while I was there were only interested in getting the art for free- and trying to convince me that I should pay to get one of them put on me. Needless to say, I told them where they could go, and walked out.

	Image: abstract-xenacanthus.gif 555x747 11523 bytes 1999.11.08 This one will require explaning. Xenacanthus is a prehistoric ancestor of modern sharks. I like paleoicthyology; or the study of prehistoric fish. this creature lived in tidewaters, was about 2 feet long, and ate shrimp. I'm rather proud of the design.

This idea came to me as I read his LJ asking for a pic of his character for a birthday present. So I drew it up. :) Color will follow later.

	Image: Chun.jpg 629x782 90300 bytes 1999.11.07 One of a group of characters I designed for an abortive attempt at doing a D&D style comics story. Chun is asiatic inspired- but carries a magic sword he got from a troll. (The sword is longer than it looks- Chun is rather tall.)
