Sketch page for 11-30. Best durn Artica pic (actually, ONLY Artica pic) I've ever done.\r\n\r\nThe gun is just a hodgepodge of designs I threw together that looked cool. I think it would work! (still, who cares about the GUN, eh?)

Yuck. Not particularly realistic in any way, this was drawn in class with a BALLPOINT PEN. The stats are nifty, and the concept is cool, but everything else, I have to admit, is ridiculous.

Most of Sapphire's fans don't know that, in her travels with her father's occupation, she engaged in a number of humanitarian jobs, at one point formally signing on as a United Nations goodwill ambassador. Her travels took her to the Republic of Banana, corrupt and war-torn, in order to help refugees crossing into neighboring Costa Rica.

A rare composition which, in my opinion, looks as good in B&W as it does in color. Ironically, some of my pieces look BETTER in B&W than their fully colored counterparts.

A request piece from Kitsune Renamon for his fursona, Alexander Bushtail. Still trying to get my pen-hand back, so forgive some of the errors here.

I decided to try a swimsuit pic of Amy again because the swimsuit shot I did of her last year was so miserable, even by my standards. Hopefully, this picture will restore Amy's reputation a little!\r\n\r\nCheck her out, along with some cohorts, at our comic right here, at:\r\nhttp://vcl.ctrl-c.liu.se/vcl/Artists/Steven-Swanson/Jewel%20Vixens%20Archive/index01-by-date.html

The last picture in the Jewel Vixens portfolio... and just in time for AnthroCon. This is Amethyst, the intrepid high-octane vixen whose only strong distaste is a stoplight. Regardless of whether it's an airplane, a helicopter, a boat, a car, or a fiesty kitchen appliance, this vixen can keep it all under control and repair it when necessary. Pic for a friend of mine's character, Aquamarine. This is my first digitally colored picture. I hope Mr. Zog doesn't come and smack me with litigation- Sex Wax, 1970's phoenomenon, (c) Frederick Herzog

One of the Jewel Vixens' most well rounded characters (get your mind out of the gutter!), Aquamarine is the team's technology geek. If you ever need anyone who can beat a computer at chess, or have a nuclear warhead that needs disarming, or even want somebody to fix the timer on your VCR, this one's got you covered. Better versed in computers and gadgets than people, Aquamarine is shy and demure, yet, amazingly, has the fabulous, impossible dimensions required for all Jewel Vixens and is equipped with nothing but the best futuristic gadgetry available (courtesy of F.U.T.U.R.E.- the mysterious benevolent organization for which they work)

From my story, this is the AR 22, the standard UNATCO (United Nations Anti Terrorist Coalition) firearm, a 5.52mm Bullpup assault rifle with a 40 round drum. Not too shabby, for now. Gun buffs might notice the resemblance to the GIAT FA-MAS. Most people, however, probably don't.

The first female char I've drawn for S2 without screwing up. She's a shy mouse and a technological genius, but apart from that she is also a strong combatant and can assume a bioelectrical form to travel through stuff. Hardwire (C) Heckfire Lee

Wanted to color this one, but it looked better this way. The gun was modeled off a Russian Kalashnikov RPK, though you can't see most of it. Character looks cool too... maybe I should develop him.

My second digital coloration ever! It's rough around the edges, but I'm really proud of taking this messy sketch to a nearly photographic picture. heh, it sort of has a "cinematic" feel, I think.\r\n\r\n*sigh*, still got a long way to go, though, but I'm only just beginning...
