First picture in a two-part art trade with Nelena. It’s of Neo! I don’t draw enough unicorns, or horses period. Argh, so it was hard to get the face to look right, but I did it, yay me! I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like about this picture. It was hard to get the colors right and everything, I used like five different colors on the spots so they were the right shade.

Sorry Nelena, I tried to do a background by hand, but it sucked so much monkey ass I was ashamed. So I ran out and bought one instead. Like I always do. Lightning makes everything better, right? Right? I’ll try again on the other half. Hope you like this one!!

My half of a trade with Silverfyre, of Silverfyre. By the gods I will not be trying to draw any dragons with ‘beak-like’ mouths again for quite some time; that was hard! Argh! But I obviously got it to look right in the end. I hope you like it Silverfyre!

My half of and art trade with DefilerWyrm of Shadow-In-The-Rain. I like the paws… but I don’t think I got the colors right. ;_; I tried to do the markings, but they turned out really gray, and I don’t think they’re supposed to be that way.

She's supposed to look like she's falling out of darkness, out of the shadows of her namesake. But I don't know if I pulled that off.

I’m really sorry DefilerWyrm! I tried! I hope you like her anyway!

At last my half of a trade with Seppenator of her character Troy. He’s casting a spell with Ulexite. Very pleased with the outcome of this one.

My last (and best) picture for the art trade with Reno Maxwell. I love how this turned out; I worked really hard on it and was pleased that my hard work actually paid off. I had to go to the store last night and search for a background paper to paste the picture on (I hated cutting out those feathers), and found this one. One sheet was fifty cents, argh. Bt it was worth my fifty cents, my half a buck. Some of the colors were lost in the scan though. That angers me so...

In any case, enjoy Reno!

(Note: This is the background I placed the entire picture on later, I do like them heart stickers...)

Grisatre Gloire for my half of an art trade with Gutterhorse! He was pretty fun to do. ^^

No, I didn’t forget the blood on the other horn, he just sort of gored someone with the one horn. They’re not long enough to gore someone with both, so I’d assume he’d have to turn his head. Sorry about the background Gutterhorse, it was the only one that looked decent with him, I swear. Anyway, I do like how it came out though. His mane was fun. And I made his eyes GREEN, like you said, but damnit, for some reason they look teal-blue-green in the scan. Argh.

My half of an art trade with Jadewolf. I worked pretty hard on that fur, so I hope it looks okay. I tried really hard to make it look jade, but alas, there is no jade colored pencil and it turned out more grass green than jade. I tried anyway. The eyes didn’t have the color variation I was looking for, and look almost solid yellow. Argh.

In any case, despite it’s coloring flaws, I hope you like it Jadewolf!

My half of a trade with Bluesindrag. It’s of Shee. I do like how this turned out, think it came out very well. Sorry she’s so dark Bluesindrag, I blame it on the pencils. I hope you like it anyway.

My second half of and art trade with the wonderful Nelena! This is of Kim, whee! And LOOOOOOK!!!!!!! I did a background (sort of) that doesn’t look like crap! Yay! I REALLY like how this turned out, the extra effort was worth it.

My half of a trade with Foux. It’s of her fursona Layla (right) and I’m the goon on the left. The scanner really doesn’t want to cooperate with me, but I got it pretty close to the original (which still looks better despite that).

The background is a picture I ripped out of an old calendar. It’s of Islas Boscasdel Toro in Panama.

Gomen nasai it sucks. ;_; I have no excuse.

My half of an art trade with Korone!

Oh man, did I ever bust my butt on this one. I tried hard to make it look good because I wanted it to be excellent for Korone- I really admire her extraordinary talents as an artist. I’m still trying to make fur more realistic.

So this is of my character Kolobos (freaky wolf-thing) and Korone’s character Syooh Ling, because I love him to little bits. Kolobos, also a tortured soul, will take good care of him. Kolobos is extremely big for his kind (he’s not just a werewolf). When I created him many a moons ago I wanted him to be appear vicious, imposing, and powerful in that form.

Murdoc for Gremsley for my half of our art trade. My favorite parts are his face, hair, and hat, those came out perfectly. His coat was annoying as all hell to draw for some reason and the scanner makes it look awful. It really doesn’t look that bad IRL. I’m now reminded of Russians every time I look at his coat because I was listening to Icebound by Dead Koontz while coloring it. Somehow it was imprinted into my brain. Yeah, that's a useless bit of information.

Anyway, hope you like it Gremsley! Hope I got everything right! ^^

My second picture of my half of an art trade with Gremsley, it’s of Tuscan.

I really love how the blood came out, even if it was a bitch to cut out. Since his eyes are really white and I needed him to look in a certain direction, I asked what color they should be instead of white. Gremsley said to surprise her, and thus, SURPISE!!! Green.

The background I got from a year old calendar. The photo was taken near Meilixuesham, one of the eight sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism (not by me obviously). Hence part of the title. Yay.

My half of an art trade with Kione, her gallery can be located here:

I like how this turned out actually. What’s going on exactly, I have no idea. I just wanted to do a different pose and I was bent of having the torso curve like that. Paws look nice, coloring job is nice, and the pose is unique plus simple. Yup, I like it. Hope Kione does as well!

This I did for an art trade with someone, although she never got back to me. Wonder why. I used Blaqriot’s art for reference a little here, but not a lot.

I’m really pleased with how this came out. Took forever!

Colored pencils, pens.

Oh yes, and another thing that reminds me. If you'd like to do an art trade with me, e-mail me and we'll talk.

Art © me (AFP/Leagon/Styxx). Whoever I did the art trade with is that wolf in the picture, she’s © herself.

FINALLY finished my half of the trade with Angelwolf! Gomen ne it took so long, neither of them were cooperating. At last I am done! Kolobos (black hair, stabbed) is mine; Malice (Front, green pants) is Angelwolf’s. As you can see, I took a little more time than I usually do coloring this. A few things are off, but they don’t bug me too much. I do hate Malice’s hand. Way too big, but nothing I can do about that now. -_-;;;; Forgive me. Overall, I really like this. ^^ Yay!

Zealous.jpg
Image: Zealous.jpg   414x727 34685 bytes 2003.05.07

Medium: Colored pencils, pens.

My half of an art trade with Reno Maxwell. This is her character Zeal, and if I got his eyes wrong, I will be soooo pissed off. In any case, the only thing that didn’t turn out was his hand, looks too much like he’s holding his leg with it instead of resting his weight on it. Oh well, not THAT terrible, so I don’t much care. Came out good I my opinion, because I’ve never drawn a character with so little hair and a goatee. Those things are non-existent with my lovely bishounen. Kinda irks me that his tag thing didn't want to work with me and is thus missing its 8, same with the ruby one, can't see the red little gem. Argh! Anyway, yay for me, hope Reno likes it.
