A Luck That Can Never Be

Originally a commission that was canceled (the client decided she wanted something entirely different after I’d sketched and inked this piece) I pulled it out of The Vault after my hard drive crashed to work on and waste some time at work. I used this piece to test out some watercolor techniques and my pastels. Overall, I’m quite pleased with the piece. Likely because I had no expectations to meet.

Saucy’s Visit

A good friend flew down this year to visit me and we had loads of fun. I drew her as a giraffe, her favorite animal, and depicted us doing some of what we did while she was here – playing with geckos (Sakura is in her hand and Valentine is on my shoulder)…. naked.

This was a Christmas present for my cousin last year. Cats are hard, but I think I did a pretty good job. Eh, still, I was not happy with the finished product. I need food.

This is a picure of an old RPG character of mine, Arno. He was found by this demon/god guy when he was a pup- looking something like this and as grotesquely cute. This cute stuff usually ain't my thing, but I think I pulled it off nicely with this picture.

I'm not sure if this will ever be finished, so for now it's finished in it's black and white form.

I have weird Backwards Messages. Maybe it's because I'm weird. In any case, this sucks. The drawing isn't wonderful and the coloring is just okay. Alright, I admit it, the coloring job blows. Shame me. In any case, be happy, an upload.

I adore how this turned out; the coloring job is wonderful although the scanner kind of weirded out those colors. A bit of Blaqriot reference on the face. From a backwards message. Hopefully I’ll be getting a few more shades of brown soon. But I love how this turned out, gods I look depressed. Guess I have been a bit for whatever reason. I don't want you pitty.

Moving along, this is my character Devon in his anthro form. Devon is from another of my RPG/novel things I have going.

I'm getting better at angles if I have a referance. Except he seems a little tilted here. Damn.

Test picture. The coloring is okay. Like how my hair came out though (the linework). You can barely make out the text, that's why it's bigger than usual, any smaller and you wouldn't be able to read it. Any bigger, and it would never load. ~_-

Medium: Colored pencils, pens, and computer to print out the little 'Black' thing.

This was a picture I did of myself for this little online test I took, 'What color are you?' I do that sometimes and I'll most likely be doing a few more of these. I'm not overly happy with the coloring job on this one, but it'll do. I really need to find out my true fur colors.

I don't recall if I used a referance or not on this, but if I did, it was from Blaqriot.

Completed in two days (record time here) and submitted to this years State Fair it got an Honorable Mention. Guess I’m kind of proud since at least every piece of crap there doesn’t get a ribbon, unlike some other cases. There was some really horrid art there this year, but it was better than last year. And at least BOS was actually worthy of it’s placing.

It’s of a Betta Coccina and a Blood Flower (type of milkweed).

Another of Arno as more of an adult. I used colored pencils, and for the background, watercolor and some other kind of paint. Not much to say. Today sucks. Oh, yeah, I forgot to meantion Arno's and eagle/wolf. Just a mut who lived on Earth as a slave. Poor him.

This is of on of my pack members Dobotsu. I did this as a sort of commemeration piece after she got her blue belt in Tai Kwon Do (not sure how to spell that). I'm not so sure on what she's really doing here. Could be dancing, could be kicking. I don't know.

Margaret’s cat’s eyes, for Margaret because she’s so cool. Her cat had blue eyes with round pupils like a human’s. Though now that I’m thinking about it… I seem to recall she might have said it was similar in color to a Himalayan…

Well, I’m graduated. I’ll probably draw something for that tonight. It was cool, a ton of people cheered for me. Cool, I’m popular for being my asshole self. I just needed to announce that.

Though... Once you sit through a graduation for three hours, in poorly air-conditioned building, in VYNAL no less, you get pretty sick of waiting for people.

In any case, what this all means is I’m cool, you’re not, and I’m taking commissions as well as updates should become more frequent. Remember that.

From a garage sale I had months and months ago. Villian was a good sport and sat out there with me. Gods, it was so boring I swere I nearly died. It was hot too. Villian's awsome.

Sort of inspired by a test I took. It was “What’s your bumper sticker” or something. I like the grey phase even though it’s incorrect. Most accurate shade of hair color so far. And I really like the picture. It’s so me. *Squeal*

Commission of the original character Cdt Commander Nadaj Vargas as an ocelot anthro. Both the scans and photos of this are awful compared to the original. This is the best I could get.

It took me forever, but I eventually did get it the way I wanted. My only complaint is I messed up a little on the color scheme of the wrestling tricot. I only noticed after it was too late.

When I was a child, long ago, if I ever truly was a child, I believed I did not belong in this world. When night fell and the last vestiges of sunlight vanished from the great sky, I would stand outside in the darkness; raise my arms and scream,”COME GET ME!!!”

No on ever came. It filled me with terror that I would be trapped in a time and place I was not supposed to be.

When the night is dark and the air is crisp and the sky is clear, I still say:

This is my latest obsession- The Dark Arts.

I was going to explain my obsessions and how they’re not pathetic fads of what are “cool”, but meh. Up yours if you think I’m in so much need to be “In the Outcast crowd”. The squiggly things back there are lumps of copper. You can’t tell but the earrings I have on are tiny handcuffs, yes I have that IRL, yes my ears are actually pierced, but I rarely wear earrings. Yuck. The star thing sucks. I forgot my scales...

Another test result. I kind of remind myself of Pepé Le Pew in this one. I think it’s the smile.
