I've grown bored by all those usual pin-ups of the furry fandom. With so many species around the world, why stick on wolves, lions, cats, foxes and the like?

This is the final version of my own "Triumph of Spring." Sadly, I couldn't find the original painting.

Why? Because I like it.

Some days ago I was at the Zoology laboratory, waiting for a sample to dehydrate, and I was looking at the posters on the wall. One of those posters was showing a taxonomic list of black corals (our university is currently studying Indonesian black corals), and one of the names caught my eye: Lillipathes.

I wanted to try a different kind of shading on this drawing. I'm not completely happy of it, honestly.

I was feeling not feeling good at all when I drew this, so I needed to let myself go. I'd like to have a boxing sack, but I don't, so I had to conceive a drawing of some sort. It's sad, but we can't be happy all the time. | |

I really don't know what to say about this drawing, other than I've kind of stolen it from a painting of Pontormo.

This is the final version of my Judith. I took a painting by Titian as a source of inspiration for this one. I'm not very fond of her hair, but whatever.

Second attempt at drawing something without using a lineart of any sort - with "Birdlike Spirit" being the first one. It didn't become really what I wanted, but oh, I still have to improve that kind of style.

My Ana, in a more "natural" version. Maybe she looks too much pudgy here, but I believe it's fit with the picture theme, abundancy. :)

Here's Honey, a cute and soft dragoness. Too much pink here...

Here's Lillian, my badger female character. I wanted her to look comely though her imperfections.

A noble minotauress reclining on her triclinium, enjoying a good and tasty grape.

I wanted to draw a relaxing picture, so I drew this kind and calm cremello mare. I decided to give her a "softer" figure because, in my opinion, it suited better the calm and relaxed concept of the whole picture.

Two anthropomorphic killer whales, created after a "National Geographics" issue cover story. I've named them Mara and Leon.
