Aubrianna&Faolan.jpg

Couple characters I threw together today. Got a bit of a story concept for them, and I might actually post some of my writing up, heh. \r\n\r\nFaolan, left, was branded on the arms (red-hot wire wrapped around each bicep) and has a lash mark on his shoulder that didn't heal well, thus the white markings. Aubrianna, right, loves the color purple, and dyes her own fur.\r\n\r\nOh, and Faolan's tummy fur is real thin (hense pinkish coloration) not that his tummy fur is colored funny.\r\n\r\nFaolan and Aubrianna TK Archer

Wow. Its finished. There are some parts I'm not completely happy with it... but I don't effing care. The rest of it works, and I'm even happy with the stupid lighting for once. Woot!

Just uploading a smaller version to show off elsewhere.

Yeah... Faolan changed from the original character design. I don't expect it to last. The original sketch I did while I was on the phone with a friend from highschool (he reminded me of his evil face, I tried to remember it but from a victem-view perspective, which I never got to see thankfully, it got expressed on the most recent character I drew).\r\n\r\nFinished piece on the left, quick sketch on the right, just so ya can see my process in its roughest form.\r\n\r\nFaolan TK Archer

FireflyCast.jpg

Alright, I know its fan art. Normally, I'm not a fan of fan art. But.. but... its Firefly! I couldn't help but do an ode-de-cast, especially with the movie soon to be in theaters!\r\n\r\nFirefly Joss Whedon. Cast Joss Whedon. Props Joss Whedon. We <3 Joss Whedon! Keep flying!\r\n\r\n*cough* Alright. fanboyness over.

yea, I know, the backgrounds aren't the bestest out there. After trying a bamillion ways to subtly color their fur and clothing, I just got sick of it my the time it came to draw the vaguest hint of their homes.\r\n\r\nEach is standing outside their bedrooms, fresh and ready for the day. Tho Propion's day is spent underground for fear of being blinded by the day star =) \r\n\r\nOh, and I never realized how difficult it was to find a compromise between sheek and pompus. I'm not quite sure if Hobble's clothing makes it, but I tried. And the silver piping was inspired by the fact that one of his iterations had silver spots.

and now the truth of my opinion about iPods comed out. a faster doodle. iPod has good ideas... that they've copied from the Nomad series, which I find is easier to deal with, the batteries last about three times as long, and it serves as a portable hardrive, communicates with more computers... yadda yadda. But yea, iPod does have well designed headphones.\r\n\r\nMorgan TKArcher

Introspection.jpg

This is a monotype I did a little over a year ago (monotypes are an interesting process of painting oil-based ink on a metal surface, then pressing paper onto the metal to pick away the ink). Probably the best monotype I ever did, honestly. Desktop sized to show off the detail (couldn't resist).

Doodled while taking a break from moving. Done on my PowerBook G4 with the lil finger dealy. Figured it was time I did my own in the huge contingent of ppl who've done this theme. \r\n\r\nMorgan TKArcher

Ken (Rhino) and Kevin (tiger) are Graveyard Greg and Redkam from http://www.carpediemcomic.com/ \r\n\r\nHa! I finally got to a computer that said my tablet was an actually functional piece of hardware! So, this is my finished shaded version of betterness.

PowerColor.jpg

Colored version of the pic in the sketches folder. Not quite happy with the clouds at his feet, but otherwise I'm quite pleased. Image TKArcher

shiney.jpg

This is a 4inch tall statue that sits on my primary monitor; its probably older than I am, and it used to be very green. I decided to clean it, and found a shiney lil pony underneath. Did this completely in the comp over a couple sessions of being bored (I woulda drawn his feet, but he's standing on tip -toes and it looks weird.

sig.jpg

My school has a tradition of the seniors writing their names on the ground before their dorm on Senior night; the next night before the last day of classes. I was a tad bit drunk when I did this, so my paint dribbled everywhere. ...and then I had to explain to ppl why I was drawing a horse with three fingers and a wrapped tail, which was odd.

SnakeDancer.jpg

A lil doodle of a snake dancer with a kinky tail that I decided to shade with the tablet. Image TKArcher

Touched.jpg

Rough shading while I should have been doing homework turned out rather nice. not sure if I'll take it any further.\r\n\r\nCharacters TK Archer

yumi.jpg

I wants a yumi so much. I'm good with the longbow and the recurve (not a fan of compound) but from everything I've looked at, a yumi bow (Japanese bow) looks like it would be both comfortable to shoot, and rather, well, meditative (which is how I try to treat my times at the range anyway).\r\n\r\nImage TKArcher \r\n(and now ya know why I chose Archer as a last name)
