A uniroo, or a roonicorn -- a cross between a unicorn and a kangaroo. He usually doesn't sit around naked, but I needed to get his color scheme down, and show off his pouch, too (he's hermaphroditic, yep).

He's gotta be one of my weirder creations...which is saying a lot, coming from me.

On the thought that the only lemurs folks draw are the ring-tailed kind, I volunteer something -- er, someone -- a bit different. A brown mouse lemur.

Well, anyway, a sphinx, a mythical creature with the head of a human (usually female, representing intelligence) and the body of a lion (representing strength); sometimes seen portrayed with the wings of an eagle (as seen here) and/or the tail of a serpent. She'll ask you a riddle, and if you can't answer correctly, she'll eat you. What a living =p

I came to the rather bizarre realization that if my characters existed in Real Life, they'd look...well, like real animals, and how I draw them is just my interpretation...they can draw themselves however they please.

Few people know the entire Avy & Orion story (including me, it'll never be finished =p), and the many characters that take up it's "pages"...the girl on your left is Chrysanthemum, a raccoon dog, cartoonist, and just silly in general. She and Avy meet in college and quickly become best friends...

And yes, Chrys is a big gal.

Avy isn't usually like this at all...she's usually quiet and modest and not aggressive or yiffy or anything...something about that blue ferret boy, tho...

And Orion doesn't usually wear boxers, but obviously he hasn't done the wash in a while =p

Pierce (real name: Raiall, but don't *ever* call her that), a former mewtwo/raichu hybrid who somehow crossed over to being a kangaroo. Yes, she is pierced pretty much everywhere, and yes, getting on her bad side is not a good plan; she's had a rough life.

I like her pouch-piercings =p

For some reason today I started drawing my characters when they were little kids.

Avy had pretty darn big ears when she was little =p

Few people know how developed my characters are...few people know that Orion gets his fur color from his mom...and few people know that his mother died of uterine cancer (hence his lack of siblings) when he was 8.

This has gotta be the most heart-wrenching picture I've ever finished.
