My long overdue half of a trade with Darkmoon of DA. Originally, I drew her feral form beside her but that didn't work out so well. Otherwise, meh. I tried. I've been very busy lately and this has been on the backburner for a couple weeks now. I hope she likes this, I might have gotten the markings off a bit. :(

And here we have a picture of Tacoma lying dead in a pool of her own blood. This is for my mom, my family, and anyone else who hates me or what I do. Here's a toast to my enemies - 'cause right now I hate myself too.

I found this huge box in my closet containing all the drawings and sketches I made from 1998 onward. And this sketch from 2002 really stood out. So I decided to give it a few modern touches. I was so intense back then.

Life has been empty without her...

I was extremely high when I drew these last night. Didn't feel like getting out of my chair at all, so I grabbed the nearest pencil and went at it. Interesting stuff in my head at the time. I think...the best time to be experimental is when I'm stoned. Normally, when I'm sober, there are a lot of boundaries that keep me drawing only what looks good and not wanting to take risks. Otherwise, there seems to be nothing holding me back, no critical voice inside, and a general sense of feeling experimental and creative, more so than usual. It's kinda nice to wake up in the morning and find a bunch of little drawings that I didn't remember making the night before, but look a lot better than what I usually do.

I don't think the flightless dragon would be so jealous had the other not taunted him. But although he lacks the ability to fly, he's very well compensated with raw, brutal strength.

Inkage of trade half with DrakonicKnight of DA. She's a wolf/fox mix but..I think I made her too wolfish x.x;

I had to transfer this, because frequent erasing on cardstock makes the paper tear up quickly so I had no choice. Inked immediately upon transferring, and right on my monitor too x.x; Dammit, I need a lightboard.

I should stop doing ports for digos on Furc. Instead, "I'll draw you a couple ports for a damn lightboard x.x; Digo items are around that price anyway. Oh well. Monitors make better transfer surfaces than tv's so I can't complain. Came out much better than I expected and I hope she likes when I'm finished :)

Still, why the hell do erasers eat cardstock? >.<

Finally complete, after reinstalling Photosuite 4. Once I get my computer fixed I'll be able to fix up the majority of my inked pieces to share the same smooth quality as this one.

During the animation in September I made a bunch of little Tacoma heads to help me out. I was laying in bed, not in the most comfortable position, and all these heads start pouring out of my pen ;.;

Just my luck too - it's the drawings I put so much time and thought into, and spend hours sketching, I fuck up with ink. But this was all freehand mindspew which confuses me even more...given they aren't all perfect and they wouldn't all work, realistically, in an animation..I still felt the need to doodle up as many different expressions as I could. Please don't copy off them.

A picture inspired by conversation Bridget and I had a few weeks ago about having kids...and yes, my first time drawing chakats. The cub resting on her back was adopted, the boy on mine is actually Chrono's, and our daughter has dna from both of us. Remember, chakats are hermaphrodites. :-P

This was fun, and unlike most of my other colored art, didn't cause me a lot of stress - it began as an experiment and once I noticed it looking pretty good, decided to continue...

Icarus looks darker here because I spent a lot of time shading. He's also a little chubbier than usual.

No ink was used here, just a black crayola pencil and red for the pupils. Purely experimental since I didn't like the dark clumps of fur I usually make, so I went ahead and smoothed out his coat. Not too happy with the wings, but atleast I got the fur right..

My first successful drawing on cardstock. Used a micro uni-ball for smaller details and a fat Pilot V-ball for outlining. Almost gave up on it but I'm happy with how it turned out. I might color this.

Squeee! Can't wait to color this. It started as a bored-at-work sketch back in July that I hid behind some machines until I could sneak it home. Microns on copy paper. I need a seriously tiny pen. The microns I bought come in three sizes, the smallest being 0.25mm, and that's just not going to cut it.

I've been uploading less unfinished business on DA and just tossing it here. Mainly sketches, inked work, then the colored picture. Makes me look lazy and constipated, but who gives a fuck.
